  • Conclusion: About our only gripe with the X30 is its performance. Going the Pentium III-M way is understandable (although some would still cry for a P4-M), but certain aspects of the notebook can be improved. For one, the hard disk runs at a pittance 4,200RPM and booting up the system can take a while. Next, IBM could have really made more graphics chipset choices available.
