Summary: This computer embodies the essence of the Thinkpad line: great keyboard, durable, reliable and classic look. It is very lightweight (not as lightweight as a Macbook air, but this is a business class machine with lots of ports) and for me the screen size is perfect. It manages to hit the sweet spot on portability without losing a lot of amenities you get in larger laptops (VGA out, Expresscard slot, etc). One of the best things about it is the battery life.
In the world of PCs the no-working eyed laptop is a looser

Summary: The company delivered it on time. However, the built-in camera was not working very well. I choose Lenovo because its a global brand, a Chinese brand, and I travel to China often for work--however getting them to honor their warranty in China is problematic and difficult.
Summary: I purchased the Thinkpad X220i after scanning the market for 11-13" laptops that would let me do all kinds of things ranging from browsing the net to doing heavy duty development via remote controlling a few servers I maintain. Without even starting it up for the first time I replaced the 320 GB drive with a 160 GB SSD drive from Intel and installed Ubuntu (kubuntu) linux.
Summary: Hello, I went ahead and order this laptop, which was sold thru Amazon, At first the laptop looks very nice, but after using it for 2 days I can tell you the following issues: 1. the webcam is horrible! my $200 netbook has a better camera, the prolem is the definition and color! 2. The screen is also kind of poor, somehow the colors are not very crisp nor clear, specially if you compare it next to an apple air. 3.
Summary: I travel a lot and had to choose between my Thinkpad T400 (fairly heavy) and my ASUS eeepc (slow). The Thinkpad 220i is light, has good battery life and is fairly powerful. Keyboard is the best I've seen on any small form factor laptop. The drawback is that it comes with Win 7 64 bit only. I have several legacy apps that run fine on Win 7 32, but here they are in the XP virtual machine. Not awful but an annoyance.
Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Fast, Lightweight, Long Battery Life
