As Light as it should be

exconned, Ebay
3 February 2014
  • Summary: The laptop is awesome, very light and right size, the only problem is the ROM is on docking station, so unless you move around with docking station which make the laptop a little bit bulkier you cannot use it, overall its real value for money

Decent laptop for everyday

ladysena, Viewpoints

  • Excerpt: It's a sturdy laptop that will keep ticking even when the battery has long died, as in my case. It's great for everyday use but if you need a laptop for gaming or to load up with high memory programs you should steer clear. It's performance is reasonable as long as you are reasonable with it, it's not top of the line but it's affordable and it got me through the first years of college so it's reliable and it's word processing abilities are excellent.

agrafixman, Ebay
14 January 2013
  • Summary: Ultra compact design makes for a perfect traveling companion. Not quite as sexy as many of its like-sized competitors, but built for durability and with the business user in mind.

Great for students or businesspeople

supadh, Amazon
15 March 2012
  • Summary: This is a great, ultra portable laptop! It's definitely all performance with none of the frills of most other laptops (unless you indulge in a fingerprint scanner). Okay, sure, it doesn't have the best graphics card, but who honestly looked at this and thought, "gaming computer!". It's powerful, reliable, and great for business or for people who like to work when they travel.

  • Excerpt: When I decided to buy a laptop for myself, there were something I care about: I hoped my laptop is small and thin enough for me to carry it out; at the same time, I expected the integral performance of the notebook is stable; in additional, as a female user, I hoped the laptop should not look too ugly; at last, I hoped that the battery could last longer. Condisering of all these features, I stared to look for my laptop among brands.

LENOVO X201 VERY GOOD FOR A REFURBISHED LAPTOP

Johnny K, Amazon
29 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought a refurbished X201 as to get the speed and durability it was out of my reach to buy a new one. The version I bought has a 2,4GHz dual core i5 Intel processor. The sellers seem to think it has 4 something but maybe they are looking at the rubber feet rather than the processor spec...... It also has a 250Gig SSD drive which works well in this computer. There are no USB3.0 ports or HDMI sockets but, it works well and smoothly .

lenovo X201 "Thinkpad"

ecc83 "dave", Amazon
7 May 2014
  • Summary: As far as the machine itself is concerned I have nothing but praise. It was immaculately presented and setup was quite painless. Most importantly of all the new owner, my 16yr old grandson is "over the moon" with it! I was however rather miffed to find I had NOT bought a "laptop" as I understand such devices. The biggest problem was the lack of an optical drive. Grandad has had to stump up another 50quid for a USB DVD burner!

great unit, properly refurbished

thinkpad fan, FutureShop
19 March 2014
  • Summary: I'm always leery of refurbished products but wanted an x series think pad so was tempted. All of the lenovo stuff was reinstalled - not wiped out as sometimes happens with returns. Unit seemed like new. Only complaint is the keyboard light - but that is a design flaw. Unlike other think pas I've had this one shines in your eyes.

Lenovo ThinkPad X201 i5 2x 2,4GHz / 4 GB RAM / 128 GB SSD / 30 cm (12,1") WXGA Display / Win7 Pro

notebooksbilliger.de
19 July 2014
