Lenovo X200 - 12" of armored car in your bag.

  • Summary: It is not my first device of this product line, before I used X41, R61i, some other ones. I was really wondered at first of the keyboard - it is absolutely comfort. Honestly, I can not use any other type of keyboards with the same feelings. I would prefer IBM (now - Lenovo) at least because of such good keyboard. All keys are on their places, no one has bad location. When you travel and work with texts a lot - you can really appreciate it.

If you need a portable, reliable, great laptop, get this one!

  • Summary: Great working condition for an older generation laptop. Fast and works with Windows 7 perfectly! Upgrading RAM and HD to a SSD will make this laptop last for several more years. Function wise, this laptop is very reliable and parts are readily available so it will last for another decade at least!

  • Excerpt: I gave it as a gift to my youngest cousin when he got into college. And he is more than satisfy with it. Being a very diligent computer science major student, he spend most of his day reading or coding. And Lenovo Thinkpad X200 Tablet comes in as the right thing in every aspects. It's the perfect company for him as he attends lectures, does homeworks, or whatever he needs with a computer.

Best tablet PC

  • Excerpt: I have been looking for a good tablet PC for quite a while, and my colleagues all recommended Lenovo. But the problem is Lenovo tablets usually are pricy. But now I am able to grab this brand new X200 tablet from Lenovo outlet site under $650. First, it's ultra light. It weighs only a little over 3 pounds but with 12.1 inch screen. I believe both HP and Dell's tablets are a little heavier than this. More importantly the design and feel are very good. It looks elegant.

Destroyer of Netbooks

dj2gnar, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: I have always been a fan of ThinkPads since using and owning several old T-series models many years ago.  I now own a T43, T500, and the X200.  The X200 is everything I need in an ultraportable "netbook"-sized computer. The atom processors really just aren't enough for my needs, but the Core 2 Duo (2.53ghz in my machine) does everything I need and more.  This machine truly is The Destroyer of Netbooks.

The Lenovo Thinkpad X200 is fast and very portable.

  • Excerpt: The Lenovo Thinkpad X200 is an ultraportable notebook computer that tips the scales at just 1.5kg (with a 6 cell battery). It has been my workhorse computer for the past 1 year, and I even have it hooked up to my external monitor (a 22” LG LCD) via the docking station. The laptop’s 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo processor is pretty much able to handle almost anything thrown at it (except games, which it was not designed for anyway).

  • Excerpt: the lenovo laptop is a great thing to have for school, or work. it carries microsoft word and publisher, along with all the other microsoft writing tools. its a heavy laptop, but its heaviness is just one less than good quality. if you get this Lenovo thinkpad, be prepared to use it just as if it were a home computer! Reviewer received a sample of this product.

Perfect Thinkpad. Period

Prajith, J&R
2 March 2010
  • Summary: Ive been using the X200 Tablet for over a year now and was eagerly waiting for the next release - the X201. Glad to know they've maintained the same look and feel. The keyboard is the best in the business and you just cant find the same quality any place else. Don't assume that a 12.1" screen is too small, the wide screen format is just right.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Fast, Lightweight, Quality Display
  • Cons: Dont buy a 4 cell option, Short Battery Life
