Summary: All those cons, and still 4/5 eggs, that is really how nice it is!
Pros: ThinkPad and ThinkPad. Everything else is merely a laptop. This X200 is lightweight and perfect, with my copy of Win 7 Ultimate installing easily. I would recommend Win 7 with this machine. Like new condition, particularly on the features that count like the keyboard.
Cons: 1 dead pixel prominently located on-screen. Stylus can only be removed with tweezers or pliers, as spring action does not work on my unit. Not eligible for genuine ThinkPad depot warranty. Came with LoJack for laptops installed from previous owner, requiring lengthy intervention to remove. The OS it came with was installed quickly and without all needed drivers, making initial hardware testing aggravating. I would have had to finish that job myself, had I not decided ...
Summary: I would give the Lenovo customer service 5-stars. They are super helpful and sent a tech to fix the two problems the next day. If the notepad had a touchpad and another USB port I would give this a all around Excellent rating. It's fast enough, has plenty of memory, and the touch tablet screen is awe~some.
great laptop if portability is the most important aspect.

Summary: this it a great portable laptop. pretty powerful as well. the battery life it outstanding. the only thing that i didnt like is the sound quality. it only has one speaker at the bottom of the laptop... so all sounds are mono and at first sounded muffled. it takes a little bit of getting used to, but in my opinion, the portability makes it all worth it.
Excerpt: This is my main travel laptop as well as the computer that I use the most, even when at home. It is pretty durable, I have travelled with it and gone htrough secruity and through airports without any breakage and I don't even use an actual laptop bag. The battery life is short so you will want to buy the extended lithium ion battery. That really makes a difference.
Light weight, thin, and without performance compromises

Excerpt: I purchased the X200 almost from day one. So far I've owned it for a year and love it. It's light weight but still sturdy in that I just throw it in my back pack and abuse it. So far no problems. Performance is very good, in fact, faster than my 2 year old desktop. Overall though, I have no compaints about the performance or weight. That being said, it does run hot on the underside after prolonged use. Not enough to be unusable but still bothersome.
