Summary: I liked the computer, but needed to return it, because I could not download some programs since it did not have Window. I reordered a similar computer, but either a windows operating system. I really like the weight of this computer.

Summary: Great computer but I mistakenly didn't realize that it was a " teaching model ", meaning that it was for students whose teachers decided what the computer would be used for. The Chromebook is built like a tank. Very rugged, to tolerate the handling and " mis " handling of the students I suppose. Although I really liked it, because it was a student version, I regretfully returned it and got a Toshiba with an IPS screen.
Summary: I needed a simple 'typewriter' of notebook that is small but does the job without delays and is mobile and enduring. This one also is robust. Ok, I feel like a black sheep when I take this one out in a coffee bar crowded with apple biters, but this one is a working machine you actual can use and not just look at. I added an 128GB SSD, there is a slot that is easily accessible and free for 7mm SSD disks. Also, there is one free RAM slot that was filled with another 8GB.
Summary: I actually bought mine on eBay and assembled it from various working parts (for around less than two hundred dollars total, mind you), and must admit that I'm really in love with this machine. To begin with, I previously owned a Thinkpad x120e; a slightly smaller machine with a Dual-Core AMD E-350 processor and integrated Radeon HD 6310 (I believe they're referred to as APU's by AMD). The Thinkpad x120e was a real trooper, handling all my basic tasks with finesse.
Summary: I bought this as a gift for a girlfriend, she needed a computer she could use for accessing web pages and google docs at school. She's not computer savvy and likes this more than the macbook she can't take with her (it's a shared computer). I own a Carbon X1, and about the only thing I found surprising trying this out is that this is both smaller, but heavier than my Carbon X1, I would have expected it to be lighter, or at least the same weight (obviously I could have...
Summary: We've used these chrome books at my school since the beginning of the school year. I heard these were strong durable laptops that would be great for us to use, that's not really how it happened. Many of my friends has had problems from the keyboard popping out or the screen going completely black. I myself had part of the touch pad pop out and this is from just every day non harmful use. I would not recommend these laptops.
