Well built, upgradable, and and overall excellent machine.

Summary: Purchased to install crouton on and use for classes at college. It's relatively light weight (my other laptop is a back aching 8 lbs), has a good battery (I can get about 6-7 hours depending on what I'm doing), and is surprisingly upgradable for a chromebook.
If you are used to thinkpad, this is the best thing for your casual internet life.

Summary: I have purchased and used this for the last 10 months. When I don't do CAD, password secured office files, or any other special programs, I found my self grabbing this chromebook over any laptop or android phone/tablet.
Summary: I'm not at all impressed. It's advertised as a 'rugged' laptop for use by students, yet every piece feels cheap and fragile. Since this was the required laptop for my high school, I was in a class of people that all complained about lost data, broken screens, broken hinges, broken keyboards, even...
Summary: Disposable computer with little to no versatility. Spotty java script only allows for ancient apps, no game streaming, poor video quality, Ohhh yeah it and it's display driver WILL burn out in just a few short months. Save your money!!!!
Summary: I bought this to supplement my Toshiba Satellite laptop which I use for Ubuntu and Windows. My Toshiba is big and has great specs but it usually stays on my desk at home. I wanted something more practical to take to and from the office or to work from on the go.
I opened it up and it was fine. So great that it's durable

Summary: My first day with it, I drove off with it on top of my car at 40 mph. It fell off and only had some minor scratches on the corners. I opened it up and it was fine. So great that it's durable. My last laptop broke from dropping only about 3.5 feet.
Summary: Really great Chromebook is built like a tank, just by holding it you can feel the built quality. With proper care, I don't see how this Chromebook won't last me more than 5 years. It comes with VGA, HDMI ports and even a 3.0 USB port, and your sd SHDC cards lots.
