If you are looking for a good laptop look somewhere else.

Summary: I am a high school student. With a special program called one to one my school was able to buy one of these for every high school and middle school student. I would not recomend this laptop to anyone. It is very slow and stutters with almost everything. I can't have more then five tabs open at a time. The webcam is horrible and is not good for anything. They need constant repairs. At the end of they year we are upgrading and I will be all to happy to see them go.
Summary: I bought this netbook 3 years ago. It's a solid machine. It has been ruggedized to protect it against falls, and I have dropped it many times. I wouldn't pay $700 for it today though. I think I paid $520 a few years ago. I looked to get a newer model, but none support more than 8gb of RAM, so I will have to wait for a while until they have a version that supports 16+ and windows 10 before I buy again.
Great for mobile web-surfing, word processing, or text editing.

Summary: WHY BUY? I bought this for the online math and accelerated reading our school requires, and also for the family to do some web-surfing without needing to pull out the main machine. I also wanted something for mobile web-surfing in coffee shops. THE GOOD: Like most Lenovos, the x130e is a well-built, solid-feeling machine with a very good (nearly full-size) keyboard and a fairly good trackpad.
Summary: I am a recovering Dell uesr, by way of Asus, and now finally home!!! I love this computer, so little with a full size keyboard and about 3 pounds of power. I am surprised by the negative reviews. It's quick, boots up pretty fast, and it is the perfect size for life on the road. I have large hands and I manage just fine with the keyboard, and I appreciate the 11.6" screen when compared with a tablet or 10" netbook screen. This one seems so much larger.
I like the computer, but beware of the seller's misleading description

Summary: These are actually great little computers. I bought one at a super discount last fall and it has been a rockstar. However, it got the H20 virus and I needed a replacement asap to get some important project files off the drive. I found this one. The title says "2GB RAM" but the description says "8GB RAM." I asked an Amazon rep to clarify the actual equipment and she confirmed it shipped with 8GB of RAM. When the computer arrived it only had 2GB RAM.
Summary: I'll keep this simple. This computer is amazing for students and has an unbelievable battery life. I ordered a refurbished model, and it came in such good shape I had to really look to tell what had been repaired. It appears to have fallen and the side of the chassis was cracked. It was fixed so well that I could barely see where they had glued the chassis back together and it appears they even used a color matched glue.

Summary: Pro's * Great Sound Board (Audio is amazing when paired with headphones) * Lenovo's upper track-pad is wonderful once you adjust to it. * Great battery life (paired mine with a Samsung SSD 40 Pro) 3 Hours of youtube podcasts and web surfing and my battery is at 78%! * HDMI video out * Lenovo software is actually very useful (Driver updater! and Advanced power manger!) and the bloatware is at a minimum if any at all.
