Summary: I paid $220 for this, refurbished. Was in all original Lenovo packaging and certainly seemed brand new. The keyboard is excellent and great for typing. I like it better than previous full size laptop keyboards that I have owned. I have never been a trackpoint user, and this thing is definitely designed towards using the trackpoint. Though it does have a touchpad, it is small and the touchpad pointers are very small.
Summary: First of all, battery bulges out about 1 inch.. kind of annoying but i guess its okay The FN and CNTRL button are in weird spots of the keyboard but in BIOS i switched them and physically swapped both buttons The Delete and End button are also in weird spots but I could not figure out how to fix that The laptop gets REALLY hot the highest temperature recorded was 153 degrees (scorching) and i undervolted it and using the lowest settings possible i got it down to 120...
Summary: I want a low cost, compact, notebook computer for travel and this little notebook met the requirements. I had wanted a netbook but was put off by the small, low resolution screen and relatively uncomfortable typing experience. The stripped down Window 7 Starter was another annoyance that move me toward this little machine.
Summary: I like the ample sized keyboard and overall small size of the computer. Wanted to use it for business from time to time in lieu of bringing a larger laptop. But I won't because it is very slow. Starts slow as expected, but the wireless system is bad slow and the doing more than 1 task is very slow as well. Makes browsing the web a hassle, the main reason I bought it. Oh well.
