Excerpt: The Lenovo X1 Carbon the latest ThinkPad I bought (I lost count of how many before it). This laptop as did the previous ones is with me at all times and it serves me personally as well as professionally. I like very much the clarity of the screen, the light weight, the feel of the keyboard and the touch screen. I wish it had a larger SSD and the more traditional layout of keys.
Great, Great product really worth the money spent!

Summary: I wanted a product with high speed processing power, user friendly in terms of modern technology, sizable screen size and indeed strong and light to carry. I like the product because it has given the experience I really desired from a laptop. The laptop is fast with powerful resoltion giving me good colour depth and light to carry. The Keyboard is so user friendly that you easily realise what you were missing with other products.
Excerpt: Incredibly light, very compact and robust. The screen is beautiful and the keyboard is great. The virtual keyboard works surprisingly well. The only negative aspect is that the mouse keys are integrated in the pad.
Excellent laptop, speedy processing, awesome portability, yes, the keyboard takes getting used to...

Summary: I love my new ThinkPad! The previous reviews are all about the keyboard so thought I would review primarily on performance. It's exceptional. I work remotely and work on a lot of huge files, and access corporate servers and networks. I am so impressed by how my productivity has improved due to this new laptop, so it gets 5 stars from me. Yes, the keyboard and trackpad has it's quirks and needs getting used to. But I think the dynamic function keyboard is pretty cool.
Summary: This is a great laptop, certainly one of the best options for software developers who work on the Windows platform. The screen is bright and beautiful and touch works perfectly. The battery lasts a long while and the keyboard is solid and reliable. The machine itself feels ruggedized though it is light weight. Highly recommended.
Summary: I learned to touchtype as a kid so the TrackPoint is a must ... mouse and touchpad take your hands off the keyboard which wastes time. The backlit keyboard is great for inflight work. And, somehow the carbon fiber feel is really nice. Yes, the battery life could be better.
