Summary: It's a nice computer, it performs well and has a great processor. BUT it seems to be having some trouble with the power cords, possibly shorting them out. I've had 3 different cords and I've probably only had this computer for only a month. Very disappointed.
Lenovo Thinkpad T61, think again, but the vendor is excellent and offered to help me.

Summary: This started out as a great machine. Good graphics, fast processor, plenty of storage. I never carried the laptop around, I pretty much left it where it was and closed the lid. The machine was never abused. I bought it in August 2014 and it died in June 2015.
Summary: Not worth your time. Go with another refurbishing company
Cons: The laptops do not work well. Frequently, I have to restart because of disc errors. One of my laptops hard drive was not functional; it took an act of congress to get another one. The laptops were not tested before they were shipped. Many of the keys on the keyboard do not work.
Summary: NEWEGG should support the consumer and not the seller. Back-dooring returns should be dealt with. This gives newegg refurbished products a bad name. My ASUS GX72 refurb was awesome and The other ASUS products were perfect as expected.
Pros: Nice appearance, no visible damage,
Cons: States 80GB HD (60GB installed manufactured 1995), Stuck Key 41 ERROR every time it starts and during operation (so it shuts off), Battery was DEAD (even reprogramming battery did not work). Seller stated "do not write a bad review" contact me first. My response is "NO, the product should have be...
Think twice before buying a refurbished laptop from Newegg
Timothy L., Newegg
22 December 2013
Summary: Be weary about purchasing refurbished computers on Newegg! I did call the technical support department of the refurbishing company and they were not very pleasant on the phone. The guy Jim there was talking to me as if I were an idiot. I had a question about a partition which was full on the HDD.
Pros: The computer is a good size and runs smooth. Plenty of RAM and HDD space for the application I will be using it for. It has good battery life, and it arrived very clean. They spent a good amount of time making it look new even though it is a refurb. Windows 7 activated without any issue when I ra...
Cons: The screen is not as bright as I was hoping it would be. I ordered this and received a computer with a docking station, but 64-bit OS, not a 32-bit OS as advertised. I contacted Newegg for an RMA which they accepted and they replaced the computer. The computer I received as a replacement had a 32...
Summary: Newegg needs to change the title of this item and remove the 'docking station'
Pros: Great price, good brand, and usually come pretty clean.
Cons: I have bought about 8 of these so far. The batteries are usually bad. Only 15 bucks on that big auction site, but I feel they shouldn't be called refurbished if they are missing a main component. No docking station as advertised. All of these bluescreen in standby unless graphics driver is updated.
Pros: This is a very good laptop. We use almost exclusively Lenovo computers at the company I work for and they always last a long time.
Cons: The laptop did not come with the dock and the power adapter was defective. I just happened to have another dock and power adapter to use with the laptop but considering I paid for the full package, I expected it to be complete.
Pros: It is a cheap notebook with 2 gigs of ram and windows 7 64 bit.
Cons: It said that it had an intel mobility 3100 but it does not it has a 965. Which the difference between the family of 900's to 3100's is a fair amount for graphics out put for frame rates. Takes games like far cry from playable to not. So I gave it a 2 egg because it was miss labeled. Had I of know...
