Summary: I purchased this computer basically as a disposable machine. It will be spending a few months overseas in "the sandbox" so we'll see if that ruggedness spec holds up. I updated no drivers when I received the machine, and everything but the webcam appears to function fine (probably needs a driver...
Pros: -inexpensive -rated to military specifications for ruggedness (not the silly rugged specs, I don't remember the actual number for the standard used) -in great shape for a used computer -clean copy of Windows 7
Cons: It is a used computer, so you don't know exactly what you're getting until you get it.
Summary: We bought this to exactly replace my previous one when the fan inside quit working. My husband had backed up everything, but all he had to do was replace the drive and everything went back to my "normal".
Summary: It's a nice computer, it performs well and has a great processor. BUT it seems to be having some trouble with the power cords, possibly shorting them out. I've had 3 different cords and I've probably only had this computer for only a month. Very disappointed.
Summary: This is a very durable laptop. I bought this a few years ago refurbished and am quite surprised that it's still up and running! I have to admit that I've dropped this computer more than a few times and it still works just fine. It's not the prettiest looking computer but it's durable.
Summary: For $61 this is a steal. I ordered a $120gb SSD which is more space than the 80GB it comes with for $50, and 2GB of memory for $13, so for a little over $120 i'm going to have a Windows 10 laptop that will probably outperform a lot of "new" laptops.
Pros: No scratches, dings, etc. Screen is in great shape, there were no real cosmetic issues, it was a bit dirty. Booted right up to a clean copy of Windows 7, I immediately did the update to Windows 10. Runs like a champ!
Cons: The backspace is a bit sticky and unresponsive, just needs TLC. 2GB of ram are a bit slim so will need upgrade there. Battery holds charge for about 1 hr. WiFI won't reconnect after sleeping, I always have to do the automatic troubleshooting which resets the adapter, may be a driver issue. Other ...
