Summary: Still using this. It's 1/11/16 now and this week I had to re-install everything to it's factory defaults because of some suspected Malware, but otherwise it's running great. It redid the hard drive easily and is running faster again. Although I had to download about 150 Microsoft updates!
Pros: Great after I fixed it. I Surf the web, do a lot of e-mail. Does those things fine. Watch most Videos without too much effort. I've owned this laptop about three years now.
Cons: Didn't work when I first got it and by the time I found out, the 30 day warranty had run out. I took it to a near by shop and they couldn't repair it. It seemed like the Battery was intermittent and the power cord was loose or something. It just kept rebooting without warning. I started trying to...

Summary: The IBM T60's are such a solidly built laptop I can legitimately say I have no complaints. The HDD is easy enough to replace (I ordered a SSD the same day, still waiting on it) and even being what it is it's not terrible to use.
Pros: - Laptop was just like new upon receiving, some slightly noticeable screen damage, nothing to scoff at for a refurbed machine - Almost 100% fresh install of windows - Shipped fast - VERY solid laptop. Great build quality. - Good battery quality (hopefully it doesn't burn out after writing this re...
Cons: - Very slight screen damage is still screen damage nonetheless, doesn't bother me enough to make me stop using the laptop / consider returning it, but upon very close inspection it's enough to annoy me. - HDD kinda noisy / slow.
Summary: I have the impression that the specs aren't shown on the website because various configurations are being delivered and there is no guaranty what you will get. Perhaps the specs listed are the minimum that the lot of laptops has.
Pros: The one I received had the SXGA+ screen 1400x1050 resolution and was in decent shape.
Cons: T60's come in three sizes: 14.1" (4:3), 15" (4:3), 15.X (widescreen). I received a laptop with a 14.1 inch screen even though the box and website description said 15.0 inch screen
Summary: You can get a cheap, more current refurbished laptops for not much more money, but this one is much closer to being free. All in all, a good buy when you don't need a laptop that's a media hog.
Pros: I purchased this laptop because I am in a long process of buying parts for a new tower to replace my aging XP machine that has lasted over 10 years. Because I plan on spending a decent amount on that, I wanted an interim PC in case my XP machine fails beforehand, but also to have a laptop around ...
Cons: This came with a clean Win 7 install, with none of the extra Lenovo utilities. Because of this, several of the keyboard buttons were nonfunctional, such as the volume keys and trackpoint buttons. Others were malfunctioning, such as the brightness hotkeys. Because this machine is pre Win 7, findin...
Pros: Excellent condition, like new! No scratches, blemishes and no dead pixels. Could not have asked for a better notebook for the price. Battery holds a charge very well for a used notebook but I mostly use it wired anyway.
Cons: Could have used more than 2GB of memory with Windows 7 but I do not use a lot of programs on this unit.
