Summary: Refurbished is usually tested a great deal before it goes out again. Occasionally I've gotten stuck, but I often buy refurbished and most of the time it's a good buy.
Pros: Great after I fixed it. I Surf the web, do a lot of e-mail. Does those things fine. Watch most Videos without too much effort. I've owned this laptop about three years now.
Cons: Didn't work when I first got it and by the time I found out, the 30 day warranty had run out. I took it to a near by shop and they couldn't repair it. It seemed like the Battery was intermittent and the power cord was loose or something. It just kept rebooting without warning. I started trying to upgrade all the drivers and discovered the trouble was with the wireless driver. Once I replaced that. the Machine started working properly. I still get a blue screen occasio...
Overall, it's a great item. It's like new and works perfect.

Summary: This works perfect. Outside is very clean. I opened a cover to replace memory with what I had, and I could see the inside was clean too. I presume this was not used much. T60 is light weight and this specific model (core2 duo 2.0GHz) is very powerful. It doesn't have any high temperature problem as I had in my old T60p. After I received it I installed Windows7 32bit, and it is running perfectly. I didn't do anything special to any of drivers.
Lenovo T60 Laptop - A reliable durable workhorse at a PHENOMENAL price!!
7 May 2014
Summary: First off, when this laptop arrived, it looked brand new!!! No scuffs or dings or hazing on the screen. I looked very closely at the unit and it looks new! It comes loaded with Windows XP (by far the best Windows OS), IE, Firefox so you can literally turn it on and go. Of course you'll want to load some antivirus and email software. The ONLY hardware upgrade I'd recommend is expanding from the 1GB ram up to the max of 3GB...which should cost approximately $15.
Summary: The old thinkpads, including the early ones made by Lenovo, have to be among the best designed laptops ever made. Easy to replace an optical drive. Easy to replace a hard drive. Such a contrast with my old Apple G4 iBook, which I dearly love, which has a disk permanently stuck in a broken optical drive. The cost of replacing the optical drive on that machine would be more than the laptop is worth. The T60 keyboard is every bit as good as the g4 iBook keyboard.
Summary: My Lenovo refurbished Thinkpad meets all of my basic computing/internet needs. Good price, good product, rapid delivery. I highly recommend this laptop if you want a reliable workhorse for basic tasks.
