Summary: I bought this after having a Dell Inspiron laptop for several years. This new laptop has had three blue screens of death in the past week. Running Windows 7 and the computer already feels sluggish like an old computer- you know where you feel like you need to wipe the drive clean and start fresh. I mainly run Quicken Home & Business, MS Office and Google Chrome browser - no gaming. Keyboard is smaller than I am used to which makes it hard to type crectlye :).
Summary: My first Lenovo was a ThinkPad T60. Since than, the build quality is going down with each generation. I've chosen T530 instead of T540p because of the simpler keyboard and because I love the 5 button Thinknav design, which T540 lacks. But this came with a defective trackpad, so only one star this time.
Summary: I received the shipment today. And I think I got a Lemon worth $1150. Computer Upgrade King claimed it to be "new". Not sure what it means but the top of the box is retaped and the contents inside are all lose. I did not even want to attempt opening it. It is going back to amazon fulfillment center. I am quite disappointed with this buying experience. I even bought an mSATA SSD and RAM memory to upgrade the laptop and now I have to return them as well.
Summary: I was excited to buy a new computer and thought I was getting a good deal.I had to waste a whole day waiting for fed-ex to deliver it,this is after a filled out many forms so I could name my delivery time /date or pick it up 50 miles from my home. The computer worked awlful,it gave messages that it might crash etc,But I must say that the Lenovo company did a great job with my return,no hassle Thank god.
