6 February 2014
  • Summary: A must-have. The T440s is currently one of the most sought-after products on the mobile business market. But with so many versions available, it is not exactly easy for a buyer to figure out which model is best suited to his or her individual needs.
  • Pros: Compact case, Good hardware and connectivity options, Good keyboard, Very good display, Very good application performance, Runs quietly, Remains cool under load, Long battery life, This high-end version of the ThinkPad T440s has everything a mobile workhorse ought to have.
  • Cons: Clickpad takes some getting used to, Limited CPU performance when the graphics load is heavy, Bulky spare battery, The free-standing TrackPoint keys from the predecessor series.

Expert Review

HotHardware
17 January 2014
  • Summary: If you’ve ever worked in a professional environment for an extended period of time, chances are you’ve used an IBM-come-Lenovo at some point. Their simple black rectangle designs with the little red dot on the keyboard are downright iconic, but although Lenovo has made smaller refinements on the...

Lenovo ThinkPad T440s Review

Digitaltrends
5 December 2013
  • Conclusion: There’s no doubt that the T440s represents a new direction for the ThinkPad line, but whether it’s a better direction is harder to say. In some areas, such as size, weight and display quality, this new ThinkPad is clearly superior to its older siblings.
  • Pros: Great keyboard, Decent 1080p touchscreen, Can run up to 28 hours on optional 6-cell battery
  • Cons: Some materials feel cheap, Poor audio quality, Frustrating touchpad, Mediocre value

ThinkPad T440s review

TechRadar UK
5 February 2014
  • Summary: With this ultrabook, endurance comes at a price
  • Pros: Punchy keyboard, Lengthy battery life, Hot swappable batteries, Sharp display, There's no denying the lasting power that the 3-cell and 6-cell battery combo provides, not to mention that these batteries are swappable. I witnessed over 6 hours of juice on the highest power setting from this notebo...
  • Cons: Quite dense, Big trade-offs for battery life, Pointless touchscreen, Middling value, Nearly all-day battery life is something that most business laptops still aspire toward. But is it worth the trade-offs Lenovo made to get a whole work day's worth of endurance? I'm not so sure. At 3.9 pounds at ...

Lenovo's fresh design work is evident in the ThinkPad T440s, which is a great all-round business notebook

Good Gear Guide.au
1 December 2013
  • Summary: A great keyboard, strong physical design, plenty of useful connectivity, and a hot-swappable battery, all make the ThinkPad T440s a top contender as far as business laptops are concerned. We think it's a wonderful overall notebook except for some touchpad issues that we experienced.
  • Pros: Excellent keyboard, Hot-swappable battery, Solid build quality, Good range of ports, plus dock option
  • Cons: Touchpad wasn't always usable after waking from sleep, The 1600x900 panel has narrow vertical viewing angles

Обзор Lenovo ThinkPad T440s. Долговечность и автономность обходятся недешево

repple.ru
17 February 2014
