Summary: When I first got this laptop from our IT department, it worked great at first. Then I got the blue screen of death after a week of use, and our IT department sent it back to get a network chip or card replaced. From this point on, the laptop has been a frustration in futility. You can't click on anything without the thing freezing up, takes forever to load programs, constantly disconnects from the network. This is a junk laptop.
Summary: My company bought me this laptop to take on the road. It is terrible. In fact, for my next laptop with this company I'm going to ask to buy my own. The IT are stuck on this brand and type of computer and we can't get them to change. I don't know how people call this "light" as my Sony Vaio (2 years older than my Lenovo) weighs the same. So in a briefcase, it weighs a ton.
Summary: I bought thinkpad t420s from Lenovo website directly and also purchased extended next business day on-site warranty for $300 more...what was I thinking.... - Only a few months after purchasing it started to crash/restart when I touch the keyboard. - Technician over the phone said it must be a mother board problem and told me he'll send a new MB with a technician next day - Next day technician called and said he can't make it today....
Disappointing and frustrating experience... but never again!

Summary: I am incredibly disatisfied with Lenovo AND the Thinkpad brand. The computer is absolutely beautiful, you will like it. it is small, thin and light... but if you expect good customer service, this is not the brand to go. Since you're purchasing online, if there is anything wrong with your computer, you will have to deal with the problem over the phone and THEY WILL JERK YOU AROUND.
Summary: Have had very bad experience with this product and I want to share it so you don't make the same mistake. Lenovo customer service did not deliver on this purchase. I Bought this top of line laptop in early December with 8 GB of memory and all the bells and whistles including SSD hard drive. the System arrived right before the holiday and I was heading out of town so my first chance to use it was not until early January.
Sent wrong laptop, replaced it then stiffed me on the charger.

Summary: When I first bought this item, they shipped me a T410 instead of a T420, they also stiffed me on the charger for the laptop. They did replace it the very next day, but this laptop had very shiney keys (polished from lots of typing), and only 70% of it's battery lifespan. Hardly the "great condition" advertized. Now I have to go out and buy another laptop charger adding to the cost, even though they clearly advertized a genuine charger. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!
Summary: So slow and unreliable. Sometimes the screen just goes black and I have to force the computer to go to sleep, which sometimes takes up to 30 minutes. When it turns back on, my entire web browser is just black and all the data and information from the tabs are gone. When I open a new tab, it's also black. The only way to fix this is by exiting out and reopening the web browser,which makes you lose all your current tabs and data.
Summary: This computer is so awful. I hate it. It is sooooo slow. The design is bulky and ugly. The casing is cheap and flimsy. The computer itself is super slow and unreliable. The keyboard stops working without warning and so does the trackpad. The screen is pixely and disgusting . Do NOT buy this computer. You can buy a much better computer for wayyyy cheaper The only thing that is ok is the fingerprint unlock feature. The Battery is awful and doesnt last.
