The best notebook I ever owned

HJK, J&R
26 February 2011
  • Summary: I previously owned a T23, 560, T30, T41 and T60. The display on the T410s is much brighter than the ones on my previous Thinkpads. The fast processor together with the SSD makes this notebook fly. I hope that I will not run out of space on the 256 GB HD! I incrreased the RAM from 4 to 8 GB and I'm not sure if it needed it. I installed the virtual mode XP for some vintage programs that I still use.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Lightweight, Powerful, Quality Display, Quiet
  • Cons: A bit expensive

Highly Recommended

  • Summary: I love this computer. It was more than other computers I looked at, but definitely worth it. It is very light, quiet, fast, and well built. I also like how understated it is. When I attend depositions, I usually have the best laptop in the room. But at the same time, my laptop isn't flashy and screaming for attention. Room for improvement: battery life and speaker volume.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Fast, Lightweight, Powerful, Quality Display, Quiet
  • Cons: Short Battery Life

Excellent Machine

Ricetub, J&R
18 September 2010
  • Summary: I bought this machine to replace my T60. This machine is beautifully designed and light weight. Perfect for road warrior. I upgraded my RAM to 8GB and it's now super fast. Only downside is the battery life which is only about 2.5hrs. I may be looking at buying a 9 cell battery to increase the battery time. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

  • Cons: Short Battery Life

Best laptop ever

The Wayfarer, J&R
4 September 2010
  • Summary: The Lenovo 410s has the highest build quality (very sturdy but also lightweight) of any laptop I have ever examined and the most comfortable keyboard by far. It is actually faster than my desktop machine in part because keyboard feel is so exceptional that I make fewer mistakes, but lightning fast on the internet too. The trackpad is also excellent, though I prefer a wireless mouse for editing and presentation work.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Fast, Lightweight, Powerful, Quality Display, Quiet
  • Cons: none

Highly recommended

LAX, J&R

  • Summary: The adage "you get what you pay for" is evident in Lenovo's top-of-the-line machines. The T series are built business-tough and designed with the intent of moving them from one workplace to another. At 128GB, the SSD has plenty of room for my needs, and the speed is amazing. Combining the SSD with this powerful machine results in a full Windows boot (time until hour glass disappears) of less than 20 seconds. 3 year warranty is a plus and is upgradable.
  • Pros: 3 year warranty, Build quality, Comfortable Keyboard, Discrete Graphics, Fast, Lightweight, No Bloatware, Powerful, Quality Display, Quiet, Solid State Hard Drive, Switchable Graphics, Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit
  • Cons: Drive Capacity, No backlit keyboard

  • Summary: This T410s is really quit light and thin, and the fan is quite too. I just love it so much, I am a fun of thinkpad, I have X201 and w510 on my hand too, compared to x201, the T410s is almost the same weight, the SSD and Nvida GPU is also great!
