Summary: Good a first -- died 11 months later unfortunately mother board went. Since this was an "aftermarket" purchase --- wasn't worth fixing. Just went out and purchased an ACER laptop (I've had excellent longevity of these machines - they run/ don't die).
Excerpt: I bought this computer for use mainly as a tool with which to do my taxes. When I switched from a laptop PC to a Macbook Air in 2012, I found out that the tax program I used was not supported on the Mac platform so I used an old laptop and held my breath hoping it wouldn't crash.
Summary: I opened and started up the computer once after it arrived to make sure everything turned on. Everything was fine at that point. It was given to my daughter for Christmas. I have my daughters every other week. It stopped working by mid-January showing a "disk read error".
Summary: The seller gave data as follows "4 gb ram ddr3, Tested to boot". In fact, only one of all 5 laptops has 4GB RAM, and this one failed to boot, as it has USB port broken and freezes on ThinkPad logo screen. The rest of the laptops do not have RAM and failed to boot.
Summary: Not happy at all, unfortunately. I was specifically after the 2767, but, received the 2765. Big difference guys. Also, it is obvious that the previous owner of this Laptop has done repair work to the screen and done a fairly rough job of it. Awful really. Took me 30 seconds to notice the dodgy work.
Summary: After less than a month the computer no longer works. I am sending it back and hopefully in receive one that will work. Also I was to get windows 7 with. After about a week I began getting a popup about needing to pay for windows.
Summary: Advertised the 7417 and like another buyer I got the 6475. This gives you a DVD-ROM instead of a burner among other issues like the software not matching the description and the item being generally worn despite being advertised as "like new". Far from it.
