Summary: This was a much more expensive computer 18 months ago, but retains all its value, the quality Lenovo construction, the dual core processor. The fan runs only occasionally, and is almost not perceptible. The internal frame and first class keyboard are superb, plus you have the option of moving the mouse with either a touchpad or the center keyboard device. A winner!
Summary: Lenovo is outstanding Laptop and better than any over-priced $2000 IBM made Thinkpads..My 7 pds Lenovo 3003-N100 with 9 cells is working and going strong..Because This is Lenovo and is the best in the world.
Summary: This is a great laptop. Long battery life, built in hard drive protection, high detail glossy display, 4 USB ports and a great glossy black finish on the lid. Computer is shipped with Windows XP and comes with restore CD's for Windows Vista. Execellent product!
Summary: This is a high quality laptop. It runs efficiently and it came with Windows XP. I would rather have a computer that works than one that only looks good. It can be easily carried around since it is not that heavy. Also, I know I can rely on a Lenovo and I wanted a computer that would last vs. other poor-quality laptops that were not recommended. I would have to say that I got a bargain.
Summary: Bought as replacement for IBM X40; the Leonovo "feels" similar, has the small red button cursor control that I like, and came installed with Windows XP Professional, with which I am familiar and see no reason to upgrade.
Summary: I can give many serious and not so serious drawbacks other laptops have. This one is free from many. It's design is perfect - it's 'fat' enough to provide good heat ventialtion which makes this laptop running quiet and cool. If it had dual core 'P' processor - it would be even better, but cost 300 more and not avaialable in JR. It's keyboard which is no doubts is the best on the market.
