Great concept, inadequate delivery and absolutely horrible support.

Summary: Have had this computer for about 7 months. Originally bought this to use as a digital notebook and digital reader with the ability to annotate pdf files, ie research papers in pdf. Have had multiple issues with this computer: 1. Build is not very sturdy, with stylus in the silo the left side lifts up and starts creaking with handling. Notices several chips in the plastic within the first 3-4 months despite handling it like a new born child. 2.
Do not buy this machine -- It is riddled with problems involving touch/pen, screen failures, bad IPS image persistence, fan...

Summary: Do not buy this machine. If you want an idea of the issues these things have (and the lack of response from Lenovo) have a look at the disgruntled customers on Lenovo's own forums. I've owned the machine for 6 months and I don't think I've had the pen and touch working contiguously without issue for a week. The Helix is a lemon and Lenovo has decided to sweep it under the rug.
Summary: I honestly have no idea how good the product actually is because I bought it from the Computer King and they sent me a used computer, not a new computer as advertised. Then the computer was pass coded so I assume that it was probably stolen from an administrator/educator out of University of California San Diego and fenced to a company in Nevada. Beware of who you buy it from.
Summary: Lenovo Helix is the worst machine I have ever owned. 1) The fan is designed to stay on all the time. It is never designed to turn off, no matter what. Plus, it is LOUD and accompanied by a maddening hi pitched frequency. Too loud to use in a classroom, or business meeting and forget about being able to google hangout. 2)Sometimes the touchscreen works, sometimes it doesn't. Especially when using Microsoft Onenote.
Worst customer service in the Middle East (Service Centers- Lenovo Middle East- Lenove Call Center)
19 January 2014
Summary: The machine heats from the back and in the screen up to the limit that you can not hold it in you hands, causing it to switche off couple of times. additionally, the fans are continuously working. I received this unit it on the Dec, 4th and started complaining since Dec, 12th after spending days following and doing all the recommended software updates by Lenovo.
Summary: Bought the ThinkPad from Best Buy and after 3 months had charging problems with my tablet. Sent back to company for repair and and after a 6 weeks they sent back. During that time I spent multiple calls with customer service in the Philippines trying to get an answer to why it was taking so long. They only gave me no clear answers and that someone would get back to me. After they returned the item, it worked for one week and then had the same problem.
Multiple technical issues - Terrible Warranty Support

Summary: I was extremely excited when I received my Lenovo Helix, as I've been a tablet fan since the first Compaq Tablet came out a decade ago. But the overpriced Helix simply fails to deliver, as does Lenovo's warranty support. In addition to the multiple display-pen-touch interface problems described here and on every other Website with reviews of the Helix, I had a down arrow key that failed to stay on the keyboard since I purchased it.
Summary: Lenovo Helix made a lot of promises, but lived up to few. It's heavier than expected, and the keyboard is a little tighter than a conventional laptop. The machine arrived defective. Worse, Lenovo support didn't even know about the device, and couldn't help troubleshoot. Lenovo did offer to replace the Helix at no cost, but the damage was done. I returned it and will not recommend Helix. Not all Helix's problems are Lenovo's fault. It's a Microsoft Windows 8 machine.
Summary: I have had three Thinkpads and thought the Helix was the next step up. It is a great concept, it just does not work. The first one main battery failed after less than one week. Tried again. The second hard drive failed after two weeks. Tried again. The third refused to boot after two weeks. Other problems. Touch and stylus are not reliable. sometimes one works but not the other. I am comparing it to the iPad which I hoped to replace with the Helix.
Lenovo=worst company I have ever dealt with in my life
22 July 2013
Summary: I am sick and tired of getting pushed around by this company. I got this computer about a month ago. The dock was dead on arrival. Instead of replacing, they sent an on-site technician who fixed it but broke the plastic. I wanted a replacement then, but had to send it to the depot instead. Its been there well over three weeks and I've spent countless hours on the phone with Lenovo trying to get it back or get a replacement.
