Excerpt: Great machine! It has a 2.13 Ghz processor and 4 GB of RAM. Personally I do not favor Intel (AMD fan), this ThinkPad may make it look good. It has generic intel media accelerator graphics HD, which is not to be underestimated. The products price would be maybe $100 dollars and sold out if Windows 7 wasn't included, because it is a VERY good machine. I would run Ubuntu/Mint Linux on it for maximum performance, because Windows is a resource hog.
Summary: I bought this machine for personal use however I wanted windows professional for networking in the event that I wanted to transition to portable computing at work. I find the machine to be suitable for word processing and casual web browsing. However, it does seem to run slower than I anticipated. For instance, it takes longer than I would have anticipated to load certain web pages. Additionally, video (youtube, hulu, etc.
Summary: OK, so you are thinking of buying a Lenovo Thinkpad edge are you? First question I'd have to ask is have you ever owned an IBM thinkpad? If you have, and you're expecting something along the lines of those bullet and bomb-proof solid titanium framed workhorses, then you'd better start saving up some more dosh and wait until you can afford a "T" type Lenovo thinkpad.
Pros: great keyboard for ham fisted typing, lenovo features, great spec.
