Summary: I've owned many computers in the past 25 years, but this was by far the most unreliable and problematic. It finally stopped working altogether after 7 months of very light use in my part time office. During it's brief lifetime it was constantly plagued by intermittent failures of the USB ports.
Summary: The seller of the laptop was good. Rating is based on the laptop itself and Lenovo technical support. The first one I received was faulty--the WiFi did not work. Took it to the tech people at work who confirmed the WiFi was faulty.
All three USB ports on the left side stopped working less than one month after I received!

Summary: I am trying to get some help with this now. I bought this computer for work and need to use those hubs for headphone and foot pedal. One month of use is all I got out of them! I searched and searched Lenovo's support site and can find no solution.
Summary: Piece of junk. I wanted to return it the day I got, but I did not want to pay for shipping + $75 restocking fee. My system is already slow, the battery stops charging all of a sudden, the video and audio are sub-par. And its only 2 months old!
Summary: I purchased a TP Edge in Nov 2011. Last week it went dead and would not power up. Nothing, no charging lights or any other sign of life. Went through the trouble shooting procedure and finally ended up on Lenovo's web forum. Wow!
Summary: This is unacceptable. This laptop runs similarly to one I purchased in 2008, after a year and a half consistent use. This laptop is mainly used for work (looking at research databases), email and facebook, in addition to 1 video game - there shouldn't be any reason for this terrible performance
Pros: It still works to some degree. It hasn't gotten any malware yet.
Cons: This is a ridiculously slow machine. I've only had it for 3 months, but it frequently struggles to load multiple tabs in chrome. This machine has substantial trouble in playing video games too, despite the fact that they were released in 2005. Frequently, the battery just decides not to charge fo...
Cons: 1. this is the 3rd Lenovo laptop we have ordered for our business in the last 3 months, we have got blue screens of death on all 3. The 1st one took 4 months. The 2nd took 3 days. the last one we got blue screen on death the first day we got it. I think we are not going to buy another Lenovo when...
Summary: Do not order this laptop under any circumstances - the laptop arrived without any issues but within 2 days was broken. Contacted Lenovo about Warranty repair - we are now 4 weeks on and they just keep saying we don't have the part ands it's on order - they are refusing to replace it with a new...
Summary: I purchased this machine as it was recommended by a computer expert, who uses his Lenovo (a big workstation model) every day. My machine was a replacement for an ancient Dell, which had done sterling service.
