Summary: I've owned many computers in the past 25 years, but this was by far the most unreliable and problematic. It finally stopped working altogether after 7 months of very light use in my part time office. During it's brief lifetime it was constantly plagued by intermittent failures of the USB ports. I would not recommend this product.
Summary: The seller of the laptop was good. Rating is based on the laptop itself and Lenovo technical support. The first one I received was faulty--the WiFi did not work. Took it to the tech people at work who confirmed the WiFi was faulty. To be sure, they got it online using a dongle and updated all drivers and other software--there was a lot to update. Then contacted Lenovo support.
All three USB ports on the left side stopped working less than one month after I received!

Summary: I am trying to get some help with this now. I bought this computer for work and need to use those hubs for headphone and foot pedal. One month of use is all I got out of them! I searched and searched Lenovo's support site and can find no solution. UPDATE: Amazon came through and in less than one day!
Summary: Piece of junk. I wanted to return it the day I got, but I did not want to pay for shipping + $75 restocking fee. My system is already slow, the battery stops charging all of a sudden, the video and audio are sub-par. And its only 2 months old! I'm waiting till I can save up enough money to buy a Macbook.
Summary: I purchased a TP Edge in Nov 2011. Last week it went dead and would not power up. Nothing, no charging lights or any other sign of life. Went through the trouble shooting procedure and finally ended up on Lenovo's web forum. Wow! Story after story of the same failure traced to a bad EEPROM on the motherboard. Story after story of how Lenovo walked away from this issue and left everyone hanging if their machine was out of warranty.
Summary: I purchased this machine as it was recommended by a computer expert, who uses his Lenovo (a big workstation model) every day. My machine was a replacement for an ancient Dell, which had done sterling service. However on powering up the new Lenovo and not running anything, the Task Manager showed that between 60 and 80% of the CPU capacity was being constantly used - without running any application/program (should be almost zero).
Summary: Do not order this laptop under any circumstances - the laptop arrived without any issues but within 2 days was broken. Contacted Lenovo about Warranty repair - we are now 4 weeks on and they just keep saying we don't have the part ands it's on order - they are refusing to replace it with a new laptop and just make us wait with little or no information.
