  • Summary: Awful. Screen died after 17 months. Told it made more sense to get a new one than to replace screen for $300

Do Not Listen to these other reviewers, avoid period.

michael Dell, Amazon
1 November 2013
  • Summary: This is a hard edged, uncomfortable and stark machine that has one of the worst squirrely touchpads have ever come across, it gives new meaning to the phrase "rinky dink". Its out-of-date & out of touch, terrible speakers, real junk, they have to offer the faster HD & perks to lure you to buy it.

DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP!!!

Jesse R., Newegg
16 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought a Lenovo, and while I am somewhat satisfied with it, I will never buy another Lenovo or recommend a Lenovo to any customer. They have a lot of work to do, and it's mainly with their bloatware that nobody even wants, or needs.
  • Pros: None
  • Cons: As someone else stated, this laptop is SLOW, I mean painstakingly slow! I had a customer order this computer, and went over to set it up. Usually 2 hours. Not this time. As soon as I turned it on, it tried to start up, then did the Blue Screen memory dump. It took several attempts before Windows ...

Very Low Memory for Lenovo ThinkPad Edge

Gilbert C., Newegg
16 January 2013
  • Summary: Based on present memory configuration, purchase of the computer is not recommended. Lenovo should not even put this model out as speed of Internet connection is necessary for today's users.
  • Pros: A compact computer at a great price.
  • Cons: Memory too low. Basically unuseable to connect to Internet. I have to upgrade to double the memory size. That increase the cost of the product. Start up and shut down of computer is a snail pace.
