Summary: Seasoned laptop user (I actually build them.) Broke, with no rhyme or reason, took it apart and tried everything to no avail (very poor layout might I add.) Save yourself the heartache and get a dell or a samsung!
Summary: The first thing I have to say is I didn't buy this lap-top from Amazon, it was off a mail order catalogue, the one I have has caused me so many problems, at the moment I can't log-in to my emails, accessing web-sites is a complete joke, I can do all my chores around my home and it still is not connected to the web-site I want, the guy who sees to it when I need it has said to me he has never seen a computer as bad as mine!
Summary: I bought this from Amazon in April 2009. The machine works but is very slow they should never have sold it with 1gb memory. The company is the worst computer firm I have ever dealt with, they don't respond to emails and their voice automation does not allow you to talk to a person. I have been trying for 8 months to ask about upgrading memory and cannot get through to UK emachines. I asked emachines HQ and no response.
