Summary: Laptop is okay for it's price. But I want to write about the warranty lenovo provides. After 10 months of use, mouse pad started behaving differently.
Summary: Alough this computer did break, the way that their customer service handled the issue was the best I,ve ever seen and will always buy lenovo's from now on.
Pros: Durible, fast for a laptop, decant display, and another nice lenovo sculpted keyboard (be sure to read all of con section)

Summary: I purchased my Lenovo E520 in June 2011 and by the end of June 2012 it had died. completely dead, it would not power on. 10 days outside of warranty.
Excerpt: Okay this is very simple, step #1 go to Google.com, step #2 enter "lenovo e520 won't turn on", step #3 see all the information about a faulty EEPROM causing e520's to fry out, step #4, don't buy this $500+ paper weight.

Summary: Great computer for excel and financial modeling. The battery life is great and the computer is extremely light. Very pleased.
