  • Summary: I love my laptop i've had it for a couple months now and it works great. the hard drive seemed a little small but i still haven't got close to filling the space yet. primarily i use this for school and work it runs autocad fine and solid-works great. good buy for me! only complaint is the touch screen driver sometimes cuts out. i think thats more my personal problem i'm reinstalling it soon.

I am not backspacing at all and am typing at a comfortable pace. When typing fast

trip keefe, Amazon

  • Summary: I was gifted this laptop severalmonths ago and amgoing to write this review how I would typicallytype on mydesktop at work. As you can see, the space bar has issues and you really need to focus on hitting it well to make sure it registers. I am not backspacing at all and am typing at a comfortable pace. When typing fast, it can be quite irritating, however the other keys seem to register well for the mostpart.

Love this laptop

reddy, Amazon

  • Summary: Shipping by Adorama is very quick. I am technical guy, so I was looking at computer which can handle huge load. I couldn't buy T series as they are very costly. Pros: System is very fast as it has i7 processor, 3rd generation. 4th generation has only 10% boost in performance, which is negligible when compared to there price. However 4th gen saves power however I am in no mood to save power. boots in 3-4 seconds- thanks to ssd touch screen Cons: SSD is only 128gb.

Good Computer with Reasonable Price

Utsav, Amazon

  • Summary: One thing is for sure. You get a decent computer for the price range. It's nice looking with a decent keyboard and it's very light. It comes with Windows 7 pro pre-loaded and Windows 8 CD's with it. I like Windows 7 so that works for me. Good battery, fn key and ctrl key is in swapped position in the keyboard so that takes a while to get use to. Also I would have like separate buttons for volume control and function keys.

Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E431

  • Summary: I like the computer - it's the right size and capacity for my needs, but I hate the keyboard, especially the "cheesy" touch pad.

Business class with a gamers processor

Gordon Phillips, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: It's solid, sturdy and powerful. Keyboard is well put together, the chassis allows one to easily make repairs and upgrades. While the memory and hard drive could be better the threaded quad-core is the reason to buy this laptop. If you work with cpu intensive applications this will shame anything in the atom class, if that is a "class". If you want really great performance you'll need to upgrade the memory and replace the hard drive with an ssd.

Exceeded my expectations

Robert and Ann Trout, Amazon
10 January 2014
  • Summary: A big shock to change from Windows XP to 8.1' but love the SSD boot time and speed. Am a physician and I use this all day every day at work. Seems a robust machine. Not a very tech-y user, but even I had no trouble setting up and appreciate the online help.

Good Laptop for the price

Bob Ulmer, Amazon
9 January 2014
  • Summary: Great laptop for the price. Responsive, powerful, easy to mange. Drawbacks for me is the trackpad and the FnLock. Clicking on the trackpad doesn't always register if you are not in the exact space and there is no way to set the FnLock on in the Bios so it startups up that way. You have to go in and turn the extra functions off on the F Keys each time to start up the PC.
