Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15 review

HEXUS
3 June 2010
  • Conclusion: With the Edge, it seems Lenovo has attempted to find a gap between the popular IdeaPad and ThinkPad product lines. Unfortunately, it seems that gap doesn't exist - and if it does, the ThinkPad Edge hasn't quite managed to find it. If you're in the market for a thin-and-light, you're likely to head for an IdeaPad, whilst business users wanting no-frills stability will opt for the ThinkPad.

  • Conclusion: Overall, I feel that the ThinkPad Edge is better suited in a 13″ or 14″ form factor as Lenovo has kept the screen resolution fixed across all models. The 14″ model offers the latest Intel Core series of CPUs which is good if you need that extra horsepower, but if your main usage on a laptop is using the Internet and Microsoft Office, then I’d suggest getting the less bulky 13″ model.

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15

CNET
6 March 2010
  • Summary: The ThinkPad Edge 15 is designed for serious business folks that want to appear trendy. We're not convinced though. Call us cynical, but its fancy lid (available in red or a choice of matte or glossy black) give it an air of mutton dressed as lamb
  • Cons: Uninspiring design; big and heavy.

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15: 15,6 Zoll Notebook im Test

handy.t-online.de
26 August 2010
