Summary: This laptop have given me problems from day 1. First of all, its really slow. Yes it is quad core but its still very slow, I couldn't even watch an entire youtube video with freezing. Sometimes it just won't turn on, the fan is also very loud. There are tiny cross shaped pixels around the screen and the touchscreen don't work after 20 days. The wifi adapter stops every so often.

Summary: Great piece of hardware, the worst support on earth, at least for International Customer. I bought this laptop for my daughter, specially because the lightweight and specs, on august. On september it won't turn on, just like that, it died. I took it to our (Costa Rica's Lenovo dealer) support company and as today, almost two months later, the laptop is on their hands.
Summary: I've had this laptop for a little over a year and a half now and the only thing stopping me from dumping it for something else is the fact that I can't afford to. In the last year and a half I've had every problem I could imagine with this laptop. I've even sent it back to Lenovo 3 times for them to replace my hard drive. Here are my thoughts on this laptop: - The touchpad is great, when it works. The problem is that it rarely works as it should.
Summary: I don't know whether to blame Lenovo's dysfunctional programs and user interface or to blame Microsoft's abominable Windows 8, but the something about the combination made this unit unusable. Returned it.
What a let down!!! If it was possible I would give 0 Star.

Summary: I ordered this laptop thinking it would be a good buy & a good laptop, boy was I in for a big surprise. I would try to transfer my pictures to the laptop, it not let me do it, so I finally had to take it to a place & have it done. Then it took a whole afternoon & all night long, that is a big red flag, before this I would be messing around on the laptop it just go back to the desk top screen, several times, another red flag.
Summary: I'm returning this laptop because: 1) the USB 3 port doesn't work 2) the touch screen is flaky and doesn't always respond 3) it has no optical drive (which I knew) and can't be booted from a USB device. This is a disaster waiting to happen. I was able to create a disaster recovery shadow copy on a bootable thumb drive, but when I tried to boot from it to confirm it worked, there is no option in the BIOS for booting from it. Which brings me to my next point.
Summary: From the moment I brought the computer home, it has crashed, noting a DCP watchdog violation. I have spent three months on the pone with tech people. Hours of attempted solutions have consumed days. No one has a clear understanding of the problem and each new tech reads an instruction manual and guesses at what to do to fix it. Finally, they told me to send it in so engineers can look at it, though Lenovo admits no one knows what to look for.
Summary: spoke to them over an hour about a know problem with their photo importer program . they told me it would be $59.99 for support,I am not paying for support on a less then 30 day computer that has a warranty. They then told me use picasa which is not free. Long story short I was able to use another program without their help. was sending it back but to be honest I like the size & weight. The Lenovo face verification thing works poorly I disabled that.
