Very nice laptop but lacks disk activity indicator

Summary: Generally a bargain, but with a very irritating flaw that no one seems to have mentioned: there is no disk activity light. That makes it hard to know when the machine is stuck. This is the only laptop I've ever encountered with that drawback.
Some things could be better, but overall it's a very satisfying laptop

Summary: This laptop has a nice look with its aluminium finish, the speaker grille looks specially nice since it's very smooth and has a deep gray color. The power button is also a detail that gives it a more premium appearance. Another cool detail is the row of touch sensitive under the screen. This laptop has also got a very nice and responsive keyboard. The integrated HD 4000 graphics respond very well to rendering when it's not an extremely demanding game, for example.
Excellent laptop - very satisfied (aside from one hosed up trackpad)

Summary: I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my 2011 Black Friday purchase - an HP 2000-363NR. Suffice to say that for what I do (government IT specialist by day, family IT specialist by night), I need something much better than a Black Friday special. So I drove off to the local Staples, where this Lenovo laptop kept intriguing me.
Great deal...dispite my K button does not always work.

Summary: Great deal... super fast.. K button on the key board has to pressed several time to work... Windows 8 will make you want to pull your hair out at first... you get a refurbished computer... you gotta expect something gonna be wrong. You just hope it's not major in the long run... still running good.. I'm just glad it's the K button...If it was a vowel like A or E or I...then that would be different story...
Summary: Needed a laptop for school and this laptop did not disappoint! Pros: Good keyboard layout even for people with big fingers like myself. Great sound from the built-in speakers. Quick boot up times and plenty of RAM for any student and the occasional video game. HDMI-out port for playing movies and Karaoke on the TV. Windows 8 is awesome in my opinion. Just watch an instructional video or two on youtube! Cons: None that I've found yet!
Summary: I had always looked up to Lenovo's labtops as being top quality machines-and they generally are- however, my labtop came with a dysfunctional mousepad that is difficult to click, and the gesture functions do not work. That being said, it is still a very good labtop for the price in terms of performance and power. I can play most PC games find with medium settings and 750GB of storage is more than enough for me.
Summary: I was looking for a replacement lap top when mine crashed and three brands were recommended. Lenovo was one of them. I was searching for windows 7 and found this machine. I added 4 G of memory and so far I really like this computer. There has been one problem on which I had to spend money to fix. After about 5 or 6 days of owning the computer and it working like a champ, I suddenly started to have boot up problems where my screen would go black and never fully open.
