Summary: I bought this computer over a year ago and think it is really a great machine for the money. I like the keypad but would prefer to have a double zero button since I am an CPA and use the laptop to prepare tax returns. I bought this to replace a 3 year old HP Laptop that was destroyed in a house fire and there is no comparison. I liked this so much that I went out and bought a Lenovo Desktop and again, I am very satisfied with the purchase.
Very nice laptop but lacks disk activity indicator
Paul Abrahams "Paul A.", Amazon
1 December 2013
Summary: Generally a bargain, but with a very irritating flaw that no one seems to have mentioned: there is no disk activity light. That makes it hard to know when the machine is stuck. This is the only laptop I've ever encountered with that drawback.
Summary: Going into college I needed a good computer but for a relatively low price. I settled on this one and have not been disappointed yet. This is by far the best computer I have ever used, Macs included. I have had it for a year and a half now and haven't had a single problem yet. Also, all of my friends have really expensive computers and mine is still faster and in many cases has more useful features.
Summary: Got my computer in one piece I was afraid of it being shipped all the way to Hawaii it would get damaged. But they packed it neatly and the laptop itself loved it but windows 8 takes some getting use to kinda annoying in a way.
Some things could be better, but overall it's a very satisfying laptop

Summary: This laptop has a nice look with its aluminium finish, the speaker grille looks specially nice since it's very smooth and has a deep gray color. The power button is also a detail that gives it a more premium appearance. Another cool detail is the row of touch sensitive under the screen. This laptop has also got a very nice and responsive keyboard. The integrated HD 4000 graphics respond very well to rendering when it's not an extremely demanding game, for example.
Excellent laptop - very satisfied (aside from one hosed up trackpad)

Summary: I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my 2011 Black Friday purchase - an HP 2000-363NR. Suffice to say that for what I do (government IT specialist by day, family IT specialist by night), I need something much better than a Black Friday special. So I drove off to the local Staples, where this Lenovo laptop kept intriguing me.
Summary: I spent weeks researching computers with help from some experts and this laptop was brought to my attention. It was by far the best deal that I found. I was looking at Dell Inspiron's on Amazon for roughly the same price, but they either lacked the processing power (1.5Ghz) or had far less memory and/or hard drive space (this one has ~750gb). I only received this yesterday, but so far it has been an excellent purchase for the money.
Great deal...dispite my K button does not always work.
5 August 2013
Summary: Great deal... super fast.. K button on the key board has to pressed several time to work... Windows 8 will make you want to pull your hair out at first... you get a refurbished computer... you gotta expect something gonna be wrong. You just hope it's not major in the long run... still running good.. I'm just glad it's the K button...If it was a vowel like A or E or I...then that would be different story...
