Summary: I bought the laptop 10 months ago and now some kind of hard disk problem prevents Windows from starting. Update: The tech person was very helpful. I had to reformat the disk. I lost all the files, but the computer is working again.
Summary: I expected this laptop to perform well given its specs, but I was disappointed. Even surfing the internet with a fast browser like Chrome is slow. The keyboard has annoyingly small keys, especially the right shift and enter key. It also looks ugly (brown with orange?....come on...). The only good thing is the JBL audio. I should have known better than to buy a gaming laptop from Lenovo. Lenovo reliability apparently isn't very good either.
Pros: Excellent audio
Cons: Disappointingly slow, bad keyboard, looks ugly
Summary: Bought this computer last March. I was expecting something better, but was ok with the computer for a week. After that, a few problems start to happen. Summary: I owned this laptop for slightly over a month when the battery died. As it was under warranty, I called Lenovo Technical Support. They told me to send the laptop to their Grapevine, TX repair center. I had to pay UPS $69 including insurance to ship as as Lenovo only covers shipping on certain series of laptops and the Z series is not one of them. The laptop arrived on 1/26/12. Lenovo tells you to use [...] to check repair status.
