Summary: I love this machine. I looked high and low for a laptop before purchasing this one and I couldn't be happier. Screen is the perfect size, keyboard is wonderful, the slots for various items are all in the right places. Fast, fast computer. Buy it!
Summary: Bought a refurbished version; runs like a champ, decent battery life, able to play most games, fast, AMAZING keyboard, typing feels natural and not cramped. If you need a everyday workhorse this is the computer you want end of story.
Summary: I just purchased my first new laptop ever and it was the Lenovo Z510. There was a big deal advertised and I'd heard that they'd carried on the IBM tradition of building rock solid laptops. As it turns out, the ThinkPad series are the only ones to be trusted. I'll lead with the positives. The hardware on the machine is top notch. Haswell core i7, 8gb of RAM, and a decent SSD hybrid hard drive. There is no bluray drive and the graphics are integrated.
Summary: I actually bought this laptop directly from the Lenovo website on 4/22/2014 because they had a special $699 promotion. I was able to get an additional student education discount of $50. With this price, it is the best new laptop you can buy. For a similar spec'ed machine you'd have to pay closer to $1000. Incidentally, on my current Macbook Pro 17" with only Core 2 Duo, I paid about $800 and that was for a used laptop about 2 1/2 years ago!
Summary: This is so far the best laptop I have ever owned. The laptop is sleek, reliable, and perfect for any student or someone who wants entertainment on their laptop. It is also at a fair price, so you'll definitely get your moneys-worth. The laptop has a sturdy construction so it won't break on you either. Great laptop overall and an amazing job Lenovo!
Summary: Saw the specs on this laptop and decided to buy it. Laptop works well, I've had no problems, very fast laptop Update: I've had this laptop for about 7 months now and it stills runs like new. I've had no problems with overheating or lagging in processor speed. The battery life is also still decent. I'm looking for a laptop for my brother so I'm definitely gonna keep it in the lenovo family.
Summary: Pros: *Newest Haswell Intel i7-4700MQ processor - super fast *Beautiful chasis, design, craftsmanship Cons: *1366x768 resolution screen. It's by no means a bad screen, but if you want to upgrade to a 1900x1080 screen then you'll have to add $200 more. I will add on a more detailed review soon, I just got this computer yesterday.
