Summary: I know this was a refurb but I am very annoyed it was sent with obvious keyboard problems I noticed after a few minutes on my initial inspection. I can handle a few scratches but I would think the keyboard would merit more careful inspection. Also its replace only no refund. I willl rma this (or trying to now) and hopefully get a unit functions as promised.
Pros: it was cheaper than a new one,...but.there was a drawback
Cons: arrived with defective keyboard-m and j, k keys stick like there is a problem with the main board--no spring tension or something--sticks. right shift key is super tiny compared to left..weird design choice. And is it suppose to get super hot on the back hinge?
Summary: Hopefully Newegg will respond to my request to have this laptop replaced soon.
Pros: The first few hours that it was working was great. High Resolution and very responsive touchscreen. Also has a nice feel and weight that make it very comfortable to use.
Cons: After a few hours while setting up the start screen and personalizing, this laptop restarted on its own. This kept happening a few more time then the infinite restart loop(the power indicator would blink on then shut off and continue until the battery died or the Window repair screen pop up).
Summary: aparently there is a problem in the hard drive. the notebook did not work. i sent to tech service in my country but they dont have this model, so they did not accept it. i am very dissapinted and upset. i think it was not new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: By now, word of the Y2P's yellow color issues are exposed. There is a "fix" that is not really a fix but an adjustment that alters your entire color scheme and drains your battery. Many people (maybe half?) are also reporting the "fix" does not fix the problem and even causes more problems in other areas like wifi connectivity. It's sad that this defective product is still being sold with no warning given.
