Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 Review

laptopreviews.com
22 February 2012
  • Conclusion: The Y570 is in a tight spot; it has great performance at its $799 price point but is severely let down by its screen. I like the rest of the notebook – it has a good-looking design, solid keyboard, quiet and effective cooling system, decent (if quirky) speakers, and a respectable array of ports. The lifeless 1366×768 screen is not acceptable on a notebook above $500.
  • Pros: Unique and pleasing design, Performance fit for gaming and demanding software, Keyboard is pleasant to use and comfortable, Stays cool and fan is not too loud
  • Cons: Sub par quality screen, no high resolution option, Some chassis flex, build quality could be better, Audio quality of JBL branded speakers don’t live up to branding, Competing laptops with better bang for the buck

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570-086225U Laptop Review

Notebookcheck
31 December 2011
  • Summary: Multimedia Nexus. Desktop replacement notebooks are a dime a dozen, and Lenovo has tossed its hat into the ring with its introduction of the IdeaPad Y570, a strange hybrid between a media center and a portable business notebook. While the last part could be a little doubtful, the Y570’s style, fit, finish, and power-saving features make it an attractive pick for the shopper interested in a multimedia center with no compromises.
  • Pros: NVIDIA's Optimus switchable graphics, The JBL speakers, NVIDIA's Optimus technology and the overall fit and finish of the Y570 were impressive, to say the least.
  • Cons: The weight, Lack of a full HD screen, To be honest? A higher-resolution screen, and the speed of a fast hard drive/SSD.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 15.6-inch Laptop Review

ThinkComputers
12 October 2011
  • Summary: Final Thoughts We all know Lenovo for their ThinkPad line, but you are really going to start to know Lenovo for their IdeaPad line.  First the U260, which was one of the most elegant and thin Windows-based notebooks we have seen and now the Y570, which is a laptop that can pretty much do anything – play games, playback HD video and much more.  This is one of the most complete laptops I have seen in a while. Let’s talk about performance first.
  • Pros: Price, Great Performance, Dedicated graphics, USB 3.0, Awesome speakers
  • Cons: Screen resolution could be bigger

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570

Wired
9 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Lenovo’s IdeaPad series — the bulkier, cheaper and more consumer-friendly little sibling to the ThinkPad line — gets little love, but why? Surely not just because Lenovo replaced the vaunted ThinkPad keyboard with little chicklets, right? (More on that in a bit.) The IdeaPad Y570 has so much going for it that it’s hard to know where to start.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570

MobileTechReview.com
20 July 2011
  • Conclusion: The Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 comes in what Lenovo calls "Dusk Black" and it's a great higher-end college student laptop, and it will suit users who need plenty of multimedia and good gaming power. The system we tested costs $849 on Lenovo’s web site, and Lenovo sells the top of the line version with Core i7, Blu-ray drive, 750GB HDD/64GB SSD for $1249. The prices on different pre-build models are comparable to competing systems with similar specs from other manufacturers.
  • Pros: Sleek design, solid multimedia and gaming performance, dedicated graphics., Pro: Sleek design, solid multimedia and gaming performance, nice software bundle.
  • Cons: Screen resolution could be higher., Con: Screen resolution could be higher, if only as an option.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570

Lenovo Y570 - zvijerka za kuću ali i ured

PC Ekspert
4 March 2014
Napokon smo došli i do igara. 3DMark 11 performanse nisu same po sebi blistave, no tu su zbog budućih testova prijenosnika s jačim grafičkim karticama.
  • Pros: Performanse, izgled, kvaliteta materijala i izrade, 2x USB3.0 porta. autonomija, oprema, odnos uloženo/dobiveno.
  • Cons: Izboj pozadinske svjetlosti, velika refleksija ekrana, garancija bi mogla biti duža.
