Summary: I almost have a year with my lenovo ideapad, and I really LOVE IT. Just for $1000, with dual nvidia, and 8gb ram, just awesome. I'm always playing videogames for hours and don't get that hot. I try titanfall in high preformance, guild wars, league of legens, skyrim, etc. The adobe suit don't take much time to open and neither the windows. I love the 1080 screen (the quality of the image are great), movies looks fantastic and the hdmi connection works good.

Summary: I've owned a few gaming laptop's and this one is probably the most buggy one I've ran into. It comes factory with so much bloatware that you spend the first hour un-installing all the garbage programs that Lenovo included. I've frequently had issues with the hard drive and getting SLI video cards to work in sync.
Summary: It's a pretty good laptop. I bought it used but it was in good condition except he deleted the recovery portion......If your a anime fan and want to play games like Naruto storm 3 you won't be able to. Unless you get rid off windows 8. After windows 8 was corrupted I had to get in contact with Microsoft. They informed me to contact lenovo. It took 30 minutes to get in contact with someone. I paid $200 for the premium support recovery disk and a one year warranty.
Summary: Been using this laptop for about 10 months now and I gotta say that i'm quiet impressed in my purchase. As a computer engineer and IT guy who have decent knowledge with computers, this machine managed to handle the heavy usage that I put it into. I used it for a large number of purposes such as 3D rendering, modeling, converting videos, gaming, internet browsing, and much more but the laptop worked flawlessly with no problem at all.
Summary: Love it. I've had it for 6 months now and it's been great. I haven't had any issues with it any of connections - have a 2nd monitor hooked up, I've hooked it up to the tv with the hdmi port, have a cooler pad connected via a usb hub. Everything works beautifully. My only complaint is that the mousepad is just a hair too far left for my taste. I like to game and sometimes my left hand will rub the mousepad and mess up my avatar.
Summary: Great Laptop, perfect for a desktop replacement. It's a bit bulky and heavy (the charger is annoyingly huge), not recommended for carrying the laptop everywhere. Very fast laptop, could run any game I tried (newer games run slow in high graphics). When SLI is running, it gets really hot on the sides (video cards). It's not a problem though, but with a cooling pad it get's really better. Great laptop for the money.
Summary: This laptop has served me well. There are a lot of other reviews, so I'll be brief. It heats up quite a bit while the video cards are in active use, but the design seems to manage to keep things cooled. The vents are on the sides so they keep the hot air (and it does feel hot, not just warm) away from the user. I've never had any trouble with the system slowing down or freezing even after hours of gameplay.

Summary: some video card compatibility problems. Windows 8 is a small disaster on the machine. general performance, especially on quality of screen and sound, although the benefits of an operating system on part SSD dont appear to work as well as a real ssd
