Good Laptop for the price, a few bugs to watch for.

Summary: Been having issues wiht the lenovo battery management software, if you alter the settings, it always reports the battery is 60%, only fix is to reinstall. Also the Wifi card is horrible constantly losing connectivity. And windows 8 is a PITA due to this not being a touch screen, the 8.1 SP release is a minor fix by adding a so called start button, but it isnt the same as windows 7 menu.
Summary: Thought I was buying the configuration that had the DVD drive, but instead I got the one with a graphics card. Already through away the receipts so I'm stuck with it. As of today cannot buy or find a DVD Ultrabay drive for this computer (Lenovo site is always out of stock) so I bought an external one. The computer itself is fast and looks good, just bought the wrong configuration.
Summary: My company bought this for me and I've been using it for a couple days. Loaded up Windows 8.1 Enterprise to remove all the bloatware. The laptop works fine; the display is good and the keyboard is better than good. However, there are a few problems. PROS: Solidly built and good fit and finish Excellent, backlit keyboard Plenty of disk space Performance excellent for programming. CONS: Wi-Fi radio is not very powerful.
Just OK, disappointed in Lenovo, quality and possibly design issues

Summary: I have owned several thinkpads over the years, including several after Lenovo took over the computer line. This is the first Lenovo I have bought that is a real disappointment. I'm not a gamer; I just wanted the performance, large disk space, and graphics for photo work. While the screen and graphics display is very nice, there are major hardware (and possibly software driver) issues that I have not been able to resolve.
I love it but im already having problems with it days into

Summary: Ive never ownded a gaming labtop just usally go with a brand that im more knowlegeable about. I chose this over alienwear and im happy I did. There are a few cons and pros, I just asked for a return so to see if they can fix these problems for me id be happy if they just fix it or give me one that does not have as many bugs cause im absoultely in love with the screen the graphics and everything for the price im just not happy with all the bugs i have with this one.
If speaker sound quality matters AT ALL then do NOT buy this.

Summary: I read a lot of reviews before buying this and NO ONE told me how awful the speakers sound. My old Sony sounds at least 5 times better. They are supposed to be high quality "JBL" with Dolby but dont be fooled. It sounds VERY muddy and you hear bass rattle at low volume and there is NO treble. It sounds like the sound is being muffled through a rolled up towel. No drivers support any system wide equalizers.
Summary: I wanted so so much to love this computer. Its specs are unbelievable for the price, and the ultrabay and backlit keyboard are major bonuses. It has a great array of ports (side note: the product description says it's got 2xUSB2.0 and 2xUSB3.0 - this is incorrect. It has only one USB2.0 port on the right side), and the screen is simply beautiful.
Summary: I bought this laptop for my boyfriend as a replacement for a Chromebook. He loved it at first, until he started to notice some small issues that began building up. It seems the left speaker will go in and out. I don't know if this is some highly sophisticated computer that can sense when there doesn't need to be another speaker going, or there is just a flaw. It works sometimes if not most of the time, but sometimes it does not. As I type this it is going in and out.
