Summary: The edge where you rest your palm is so sharp that it almost cut my hand on my first day of use. This is a terrible design flaw. I returned the laptop immediately. I had to pay 15% of the laptop price for their design flaw. But, I could not use this for any longer.
Summary: I have owned this laptop for several months and it drives me crazy. The touchpad in the center is too sensitive. As I type this review, accidental near-brushes of my fingers over the touchpad make the cursor jump back up to the middle of other sentences and I am constantly reshifting.
Summary: Buying this is like buying a lotto. After half a year, this junk simply fell apart: A couple of keys quit working, plug gets loose. Then, hard disk fell. Now the cooling is shot. It gets really hot. And the hinge broke. The nasty warranty rep is scolding me like it is my fault.
Summary: Yes. Yes it is. Terrible quality control, design, and execution from Lenovo. I should have paid the 15% restocking fee when the item arrived and I immediately noticed the extremely uncomfortable edge designed to cut deep into your wrists.
Summary: In the IT field for around 15 years and the least reliable system that I ever had was lenovo Y450. Bought it around 2+ years back and the motherboard died on the first week; lenovo did not give another system, but replaced the motherboard.
