Summary: I purchased this product about 6 months ago after using an HP for over two years. The SSD was remarkable to me, but has slowed down the start time overall as time has gone on. The faulty mousepad seems to be as a default after going over other reviews. As a university student, I don't ask for a lot in terms of performance, but I am able to do my work, watch movies, and even play some games. I'm pretty satisfied with this product.
Summary: So far I've been pretty happy with it. A ton of HD space for not a ton of money. Windows 8 is taking some getting used to, but that is always the case and there are a few work arounds to make it more user friendly. One thing that is annoying is the 'mini-VGA' port. This port is smaller than most that convert to VGA and finding a converter that fits has been impossible. To the point I wonder if it is mislabeled.
Summary: Good Laptop For The Price Although The Price Went Up $40. Just Before I Made The Purchase. I Just Don't Care For Windows 8. When She Downloaded The 8.1 It Came Loaded With Ads To Clean The computer etc.
Summary: Great value for the money. Didn't experience any of the mouse glitches others talked about, so that was good. Only thing I wish it had was a VGA port in addition to the HDMI. Nice and sleek package. Casing around the screen itself isn't the most sturdy, but the metal outside casing is pretty slick.
