  • Conclusion: The U430 Touch, however, boasts an excellent keyboard, a stunning high-res display, enough speed to make everyday computing a breeze, and a battery that lasts almost an entire workday, all wrapped up in a beautiful aluminum chassis. You'll be hard pressed to find an affordable touch-screen ultrabook that makes as few compromises as the IdeaPad U430 Touch.
  • Pros: Attractive aluminum design, Comfy backlit keyboard, Gorgeous 1,600x900 display, Long battery life
  • Cons: Stiff touch pad, Tinny audio

Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch Review

Digitaltrends
10 September 2013
  • Conclusion: Lenovo has managed to once again create budget Ultrabook magic with the Lenovo U430 Touch. At $699, this system is hard to beat, as it offers a decent display resolution, good keyboard, and adequate performance without sacrificing battery life. This is not to say the U430 is perfect; it most certainly isn’t. The low-contrast display saps media content of life, the touchpad feels a bit cheap, and some competitors last longer on a charge.
  • Pros: Good build quality and design, Great keyboard, 1600 x 900 display resolution, Adequate performance, Strong battery life, Cool, quiet operation
  • Cons: Touchpad feels cheap, Dull display, Speakers could be better

Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch Review

LAPTOP Magazine
6 September 2013
  • Summary: The mere fact that the $699 Lenovo U430 Touch has an attractive design, excellent backlit keyboard and strong endurance would be enough to make it one of our favorite Ultrabooks. But Lenovo went even further, adding voice-recognition software and undercutting the competition by at least $100. While it doesn't have category-leading performance and its display could be better, the U430 Touch is a great value for those who want a touch-screen notebook you can take anywhere.

Test: Lenovo IdeaPad U430 Touch (59399823) (Notebook)

CHIP Online
5 December 2014
  • Pros: Ausreichend Leistung, Gute Akkulaufzeit, Hybrid-Festplatte
  • Cons: Schwaches Touch-Display
