A cure for Macbook Air envy!

StuDew , johnlewis.com
9 December 2014
  • Summary: I had been suffering form deep envy of my daughter's Macbook Air. However I am a PC man with zero interest in moving to Apple. This utrabook is the same size and weight and has the same processor. However the touch screen on the Lenovo is great for reading the paper and you can switch the keypad illumination on and off! A great laptop - the best I have ever owned (and I've had a few!) Cannot fault it so far.

C. Lucas, Amazon
21 July 2014
  • Summary: Had this laptop for a few months now and the hardware has been great: fast, slim, solid and funky looking - i'm still finding my way with Windows 8.1 but it is frustrating at times.

excellent laptop for price

19 June 2014
  • Summary: An excellent slim laptop for the price and is fast. Had over a month and works great. Only downfall is there is no Internet port but can easily buy a cheap adapter to usb 3 port. Weighs hardly anything.

Lenovo U330 Touch Does Support Wireless Display

Richie58 , johnlewis.com
6 June 2014
  • Summary: I just wanted to advise prospective purchasers that this Lenovo U330 Touch does support Intel® Wireless Display (Intel® WiDi) contrary to the information supplied in the Product information. This was a major factor in my purchasing decision and as it was my understanding that virtually all computers with 4th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors are supposed to have this technology I made further enquiries.

MR A A FITZGERALD, Amazon
5 April 2014
  • Summary: Great Price to Spec Notebook... Getting to grips Windows 8.1 In the past have had PCs/Laptops with Windows XP, Vista & 7 and use a Samsung Note Android phone & Tablet... but had to buy Windows 8.1 for Dummies to get familiar with the new Windows 8.1 operating system, but that's another story...

Not as large as your average laptop but build quality is exceptional

Sdrowym "The Writer", Amazon
31 March 2014
  • Summary: I did a lot of research on what was best for me but kept coming back to this which is waht I ended up buying. It is not as large as your average laptop but the sleek build quality is exceptional and rivals that of any macbook etc. The moment you pick it up you realise you have a quality product. Downside?... has to be the original Windows 8 install. I upgraded it to Windows 8.1 but not without issues.

A Nice budget Ultrabook

Mike, Amazon
14 September 2013
  • Summary: This is my first laptop in a few years and it is a pleasant surprise. The weight is good, its not a feather light but it is easy to carry with one hand when its opened and feels solidly built. The keyboard is nice, but that is only in comparison to the one laptop I had years ago, and the back light is also very handy and stylish. The screen has adequate resolution and good colour, however it is somewhat glossy. But so far this hasn't been a major issue.
