Summary: When I received it it was lightweight, sleek, and quiet during the first 2months of use. Over time the cooling became louder and hotter to use on your lap (but that's normal in all laptops that's being used over a few months) the problem was when I wanted to open and close the laptop the hinges must of gotten rusted and later on in use the screen would slide outta place(detaching from the hinges) later on the hinges completely went through the screen cracking the entire...

Summary: I purchased this machine in the second half of last year. Within the first year, the power button broke. I sent it in to Lenovo under their one year warranty. They received the machine, said that the repair was not covered under their "limited" warranty and there would be an approximately $250 charge to repair the machine under their warranty program. I declined the charge and asked them to ship the machine back to me.

Summary: I literally just got this laptop today and the WiFi disconnects on itself at least 3 times. So I called Lenovo and they told me to do a bunch of things to it. Then all of a sudden it would not even let me use it anymore. It keeps on saying error expool or something. Terrible. I do NOT recommend buying this computer at all.
Summary: The form factor is really nice. Very good design, I actually loved it. However, there was an issue with iRST which is found to be very common in this product. Lenovo forum is full of all that.

Summary: Really happy with this laptop. Easy set up. It came with Windows 8 and I did the upgrade to 8.1. I personally found it easy to get used to this. The touch screen is a feature I really like, I use a touch-screen stylus to minimize smudges. Fast start-up, my wireless connection is excellent. From what I can tell, this could easily replace a desktop. You could add a plug & play CD/DVD player via one of the USB ports. Very slim profile, weighs about 4 pounds, very portable.
Summary: I had to replace my old computer because it could not be upgraded. The IT guy at work was buying these for the faculty and they all seemed to like them. I procrastinated until I had to make a decision, then took the plunge and bought this. It has worked very well, and although I had never used a touch screen I found this one easy to use. There was a small learning curve transitioning from Windows XP to Windows 8, but overall it hasn't been a problem.
Summary: I got a really good deal on this only paid 400 and i love it so far. I have had it about 2 weeks and everything runs great 6 hours of battery life and the WiFi is great. I don't mind the keyboard its a little compact but thats what you get with a 13in laptop. I would buy this again in a heart beat. I mostly bought this for school since it is light weight and portable and hasn't disappointed yet.
Summary: The hinges broke within a few weeks of casual use. The wifi doesn't work at times not to mention, lenovo gave me the run around for two weeks before suggesting that i send the product to their service center. After-which they claimed that the damage may have been done on purpose and sent the system back with a half cracked screen.
