Summary: Lenovo U300s 10802BU 13.3-Inch Ultrabook (Graphite Grey) . I bought 2 new U300s on line from Lenovo USA....... my wife brought it back to Australia. WHAT THE ??!!?? Both units's rapid boot from sleep does not work? Contacted Lenovo, might have to ship both ultrabooks back to Texas for a replacements..... Spent more than 1 hour with tech support from USA.... no luck, flashing BIOS, reinstalling drivers, changing power settings all did not work.
Summary: This was the most disappointing laptop I have ever owned. I am not a computer expert, so I was looking for something portable with enough power for everyday use and ocassional photo editing. This laptop looked quite good on paper and did provide all the power I needed. However, the laptop is build from very cheap materials and the finishes extremely poor.
Summary: I have to say that i have had two of these now and both have had defects. The first chassis didn't fit properly and would squeak like a coffin and the second has a loose trackpad. Would not advise buying this item unless you can give the whole thing a going over first.
Summary: At first I was very impressed with this ultra-book PC. It seemed very well built and I loved the look and feel of the machine. However, within less than 4 months, certain keys on the keyboard (g, h,', backspace) had ceased to work. Although I live in Spain, I purchased the item through Amazon UK for 2 primary reasons: I wanted a UK keyboard layout, and the item was not available in Spain.
