Disappointed; many hardware issues during my ownership

Summary: I was very excited to buy this computer in 2012. Unfortunately, my experience with it has been dominated by hardware and technical issues. (1) Poor wifi performance, essentially from the start (2) Noisy fan, 6 months in. Repaired under warranty, but took a long time.
Summary: I wanted a laptop that provided me with enough power to pipe 1080p content via HDMI or DLNA to my TV. This works perfectly. I didn't want to pay extra for a touch screen. The build quality is fantastic. It's a comfortable weight, and doesn't feel like cheap plastic.
Summary: This is by far the best laptop I've ever owned. I have not had single issue and am consistently impressed how fast it is. I have a Perl script that parses ten different databases, it use to take 20 minutes, I couldn't do anything else while it ran and I would have to reboot after it ran even once.
Not good, some major annoyances and bad customer service

Summary: I got this from Lenovo as a replacement for the T420s that broke after 4 months, blue screen of death and then failed repairs. The internal mic has never worked. It sounds like I'm talking with a pillow over my face. The tech told me it was not broken.
Summary: . I bought 2 new U300s on line from Lenovo USA....... my wife brought it back to Australia. WHAT THE ??!!?? Both units's rapid boot from sleep does not work? Contacted Lenovo, might have to ship both ultrabooks back to Texas for a replacements.....
Summary: love the speed had a problem with the wifi however the support was helpful got hold of the support right away without a wait.my only complain is when i tilt the laptop the fan seem to connect with the aluminum casing and make scratching sound. overall i am happy with this.
