Summary: Good little laptop, looks smart, quick enough for its intended use, battery life is also good, lasts 4 hrs which is ample. Windows 7 is a let down though, upgrade to Windows 8 to get the full potential out of this machine.
Summary: When planning a lengthy overseas trip I really didn't want to take my laptop as well as all the usual things we ladies load into our luggage so I thought that maybe now was the time to buy a more practical travelling device for keeping in touch with the office.
Summary: I had read some not too good reviews of this computer, but now having been using one for a month, I can say it's been pretty good. I use it for writing, music and watching films, as for those uses, it meets my needs. I like the size of this machine - small, light and the keyboard is great.
Summary: UPDATE: After 6 months. The clacky touchpad buttons continue to bug. Their design being one sheet of plastic with a cut to separate the buttons, means that the sensitivity of the buttons are an issue. Often pressing the left button behaves like the right button etc.
A Good little netbook (if you know what you are getting)
27 January 2013
Summary: As I bought this on boxing day the review is for the reduced price of 179 GBP I payed for. I needed something smaller and lighter than my notebook but tablets lacked the features I needed like a physical keyboard.. I am happy with my purchase.
Summary: I bought this to replace an 8-year old JVC Mininote, still going but showing its age and starting to fail. The JVC managed to pack 6+ battery hours, a DVD drive and a replaceable battery into 1.4 Kg - surely one of the best examples of design ever.
Summary: I'm not looking for a fast gaming machine. I just want something for browsing the internet, microsoft office (yet to purchase and install) and storing my music/itunes and photos. The first few occassions I've used this it was a touch slow. That's because it was installing so many updates.
