Summary: The laptop is shocking. I had a Lenovo S205 previously and naturally thought the S206 is a step up. It really is not. It has fewer ports (USB, HDMI etc), it is a much cheaper build (the keyboard flexes while typing), the screen in real terms is smaller and the battery is not removable.
Summary: I weighed up several netbooks before opting for this beautiful baby pink model.... but sadly that's where the excitement ends. It is easy & comfortable to use but heavy and wider than the average netbook. The worst issue was the battery life.
Summary: Having one Lenovo ideapad die within 24 hours is bad luck having two die within 24 hours of receiving them cannot be a coincidence. Just stay away from these machines! This was my first netbook acquisition for my daughters tenth birthday.
Summary: I ordered this to replace an old netbook. The old one was originally 1GB RAM, but I upgraded it to 2GB and the performance was pretty good. When that old one died I decided my priority for my new one was speed and I ordered this as with a 4GB DDR I hoped it would be speedy.
Summary: keys are quite unresponsive at times and i keep losing formatting on my work which is frustrating to say the least. would not buy again. this webpage forces me to give it at least 1 star - not my first choice!
Summary: I've owned one of these for a couple of years now and it's been hugely disappointing. When I saw it in a shop I knew the screen wouldn't be particularly great, but it's poor off axis performance makes using it tiring and frustrating. The worst aspect is the TERRIBLE battery life.
Summary: My partner purchased this laptop a few months ago. Since we've had it it's been slow and struggles to run even simple tasks like youtube videos while having microsoft word open along side that. You can have one tab open in chrome.
