Better late than never

Peter Penning, Amazon
17 December 2013
  • Summary: Seeing as I haven't written a review yet I decided to write one now. I own this netbook for about a year now and it is a great purchase. To my amazement it can even play League of Legends, which is a nice bonus for when I'm away on the weekends.

Lenovo IdeaPad S205 Notebook

Simon S, Amazon
26 August 2012
  • Summary: It is now 5 months since I purchased the Lenovo ideapad S205 and I can honestly say it was an excellent buy. I was looking for something small and mobile but powerful enough to run everyday office applications, surf the web and stream video seamlessly. The S205 has not disappointed and proved to be a little powerhouse. In fact it's so good it's also temporarily replaced my aging desk top at home.

Lenovo IdeaPad S205

A. K. Mccormack, Amazon
15 May 2012
  • Summary: This is a great laptop which does exactly what I wanted it to do like my old 14 inch Dell latitude only smaller and a lot faster. It even plays some of the older games like CoD without any problem. Hitches up to thr TV using the hdmi slot and streams my movies from my main PC without any stuttering. Great bit of kit and got at a great price.

  • Summary: The product is fantastic. It was a surprise as I have never used a lenovo product before. The performance is excellent and features amazing. I am recommending the product to anyone with doubt on lenovo performance. The service of the seller is equally satisfying.

Nice little computer for an average user

A. Crawford "Anne", Amazon
17 April 2012
  • Summary: I am no computer expert and bought this for browsing the web, checking e-mail, shopping, limited word processing etc. It works fine for what I use it for. It's nice and light on your lap compared to a big whopper laptop and doesn't get hot or have a noisy fan. The kids like it for games (moshi mosters, club penguin, etc) because it is small and light. No complaints yet.

Ideal budget gaming laptop

Mr. A. J. Wojtak, Amazon
6 April 2012
  • Summary: After my old netbook died, I was looking for something that would fit the bill as a new netbook that I could play games on. This isn't classed as a netbook or a laptop, but something inbetween. They call it an ultraportable. It's a little more expensive than a bottom of the line portable computer, but it's the cheapest you can get to play an array of current games. This handles fallout 3 fine at lower settings, and that's usually my benchmark.

Brilliant, small as a netbook, power of a laptop

AG 1977, Amazon
29 March 2012
  • Summary: I have had the Lenovo s205 for about a month. This is brilliant as a netbook in dimension and power of a laptop. Battery life is about 6 hours for business use e.g. office products, internet access, etc. I used to lug a laptop around with me and this saves the frenzy to search for a plug socket, plus the added weight. Skype calls are good, youtube plays quickly, bluetooth connects well, just a very good machine. Highly recommended.

Great piece of kit

M. Bramwell, Amazon
15 March 2012
  • Summary: Very pleased with this piece of kit. Bought to save my back lugging it around and is very portable without being too small to use comfortably. Most impressed by battery life over 5 hours without wifi on but around 4 hours with wifi. Certainly not a gaming machine but does a good job of a mini office computer.

Excellent value for money

Akroama "Neal", Amazon
11 March 2012
  • Summary: This laptop bridges the gap between a Netbook and a fully fledged Laptop. It is small, lightweight, capable and stable in use. The keyboard is more than adequate and the screen has better resolution than the typical Netbook at approximately 1300 by 750 pixels. I've had mine for several months now and I am amazed how useful it is proving to be, performing 80% of work that I used to use a larger more powerful laptop for, but in a form factor that is nearly half the size...
