Summary: This netbook is barely usable. I should have gone with one of the Samsung netbooks or passed on netbooks altogether. I think netbooks in general are kind of useless, but I still wanted one to surf the web during travel. This kind of met that need. Let me explain: > Speed - very slow.
Summary: I didn't buy this on Amazon, but directly from Lenovo through their Stanford University store. It's actually an Ideapad s10-3 0647-35U. I was looking for a ultra-portable device to take around campus to surf the internet, write e-mails, and some light schoolwork, like Excel.
Horrible - returned after many calls to Lenovo - no help

Summary: To be fair, I bought this netbook with only one thing in mind - to upgrade the internal RAM from 1GB to 2GB. After many attempts, I was unsuccessful. Lenovo tech support repeatedly changed their minds about what brand/configuration/model of DIMM module would work with their system.
Summary: Unfortunately, I had to send this one back after two hours. Like most Lenovo products, the build quality is high and as a netbook only, this is an impressive machine. Where this product fails--and fails miserably--is the size of the battery that sticks out from the back of the device.
Summary: it wasn't for me, though. First, this computer ships with Windows 7 Starter which doesn't allow users to really get the feel for tablet functionality. Sure, you can upgrade but I think Lenovo should have thought it through before shipping it--what good is a multi-touch tablet if you can't use the...
Summary: I wanted to love this thing. It was my first netbook. It was my first little touchscreen tablet. It just had so many issues! The touchpad was awful so you could barely mouse around the touchscreen wasn't responsive at all. It came with Windows 7 home edition so multitouch was disabled on it.
Summary: I just received my Lenovo today and I'm honestly not liking it :( I really needed a laptop that I can use. The shipping was alot faster then I expected, but the computer itself is very loud. The fan runs continuously and I can't seem to find the integrated camera option.
Summary: I have had my S-10-3 for about six months now. Pros: *Decent specs, especially if you can find this on sale. *Comfortable keyboard - it really wasn't an issue moving from a regular computer to this netbook keyboard. *Great size and weight. It is easily portable.
Summary: I bought the Ideapad knowing it would be very basic, but I thought it would resemble the quality of the IBM Thinkpad I used to have...no comparison. The Ideapad keyboard didn't lay flat, it didn't seem to fit and there was a loose piece of trim behind it that I didn't think would last and I was...
Summary: I purchased this as a replacement for a full-sized laptop computer. The netbook was OK for checking emails, but really too slow for any real work. The hard drive died when I had had the unit for about three months, so it's just gathering dust now.
