Summary: I brought this in December did not use it much as we went on vacation for a month and took another laptop with it . I started using it recently and found it shuts down for no reason, it says it found a problem and has to reboot than it says it has to go restore to fix it . the laptop is sleek looking and looks high quality on the outside but maybe could have used some "sony guts" .
Summary: It is aweful to receive a laptop that had defective network card. Wi-Fi is not working. Spent a day working with Lenovo to fix the problem. As per Lenovo I need to send laptop to their serive centre. This is my first lenovo and was quite excited when I got it first time. I will be very hesitant to buy another Lenovo.
Summary: Greetings laptop enthusiasts and perspective buyers. I bought this laptop in December after my Dell Studio 1555 died for the the third time in about four years. At first, there were many things to like about this laptop: It has a smooth and sleek texture, incredible storage (750 gb), its speedy, and its affordable. However, it did not take long for me to find some negatives.
Summary: Just bought this laptop four days ago and I think it's excellent. I have the upgraded one with the i7-3520M processor, 8 gigs of RAM and 1TB HDD. I hated Win8 however so I downloaded a freeware program called Start Menu 8 which configures the desktop to look like Windows 7. I agree with the other reviewers that it has great build quality and runs blisteringly fast. Backlit keyboard is awesome. Runs very cool. I've had no problems with the wireless card.
Summary: I've had this computer for about 6 or 7 months now. Still runs great. The touch screen took me a minute to get used to seeing as this was my first touch screen laptop, but it didn't take long. I highly recommend!
Summary: I bought this laptop from Best Buy back in July, and it is awesome!! Windows 8 took some getting used to, but after trial and error, it is fairly easy to work. The touch pad is toward the left, which I thought strange, but again, just takes time to get used to. As a fast typist, the keys may not register at times, but these are the only complaints I could think of. The processer is very fast, and visually, the screen is very bright.
Summary: When I first got it I loved it! It worked great. Really fast processor and great graphics. But after three months it died completly. Wouldn't even boot up. After a week of arguing with Lenovo the finally agreed to replace it. Three weeks later a much lesser laptop arrived. I returned that for a full refund and bought a Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200. A better laptop for a lesser price. My advice: Buy a different brand!
Summary: All around very good PC. Very fast, screen very bright, good battery life. Very reliable, has never frozen or crashed. Sometimes the keyboard isn't as responsive as I would like, such as not registering keystrokes when I have fully pressed the key. I do type fast, but that shouldn't factor into it. It happens enough where I know it isn't me not touching the key, but isn't a major hinderance. I do recommend this product.
