Summary: I bought this laptop from Best Buy and was so excited about having a touch screen laptop and about Windows 8. To my disappointment, my happiness all ended there! I found that I really didn't use the touch screen as much as I thought I would, so there was no issue there. But then.....
Summary: Laptop is fully supported in Ubuntu Linux and the only probelm I have every had was the keyboard stopped working about 2 years after I bought it. Replacement keyboard was ~$10 Overall OK laptop.
Summary: Laptop has awesome specs: 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, quad core processor. Only cons are: NOT 1080P (but close 1600 x 900) and lack of dual HDD If it had those 2 things then it would have been 5 stars but it still beats the other laptops in the $500 category (price I paid) by a lot.
Summary: This is by far the worst investment I have ever made. I bought this admittedly on impulse--I had gone to Best Buy to get something else, but it wasn't what the research indicated and I needed a new laptop asap for work. The processor is EXTREMELY SLOW.
Summary: OK, I love this laptop! I bought it used about 2 months ago, but it is terrific. There are some problems with the mouse pad; sometimes the pointer just keeps going, but honestly, for how fast and delightful it is to use this computer, it's a small price to pay (especially for less than $600!).
Summary: So many things have gone wrong with this computer in such a short period of time. It seems clear Lenovo just doesn't care about the total lack of quality here. I've owned this about six months and it's only seen light use and .... -The backlit screen just went out.
