Summary: This is by far the worst investment I have ever made. I bought this admittedly on impulse--I had gone to Best Buy to get something else, but it wasn't what the research indicated and I needed a new laptop asap for work. The processor is EXTREMELY SLOW. The battery life is the worst I have seen, and the dynamics between the app screen and the desktop screen and the mouse movements are beyond annoying.
Summary: So many things have gone wrong with this computer in such a short period of time. It seems clear Lenovo just doesn't care about the total lack of quality here. I've owned this about six months and it's only seen light use and .... -The backlit screen just went out. In other words, the computer is now effectively unusable even though it turns on since the screen can't be seen well enough to use it.
Summary: This is a great workstation/multi-media machine. I love the hardware. Good speakers, nice display, great size and the backlit keyboard is nice. The touch pad is ok, it works fine, but Windows 8 has a lot of swiping commands that get activated by accident. This is more of annoyance and to be honest I don't use the trackpad if I'm doing work, its just for light use. The only complain I have about this is that since it has integrated graphics it is not a gamer.
Summary: I think this is a nice laptop except for one feature, which I think is terrible. Somebody got the idea that it would be nice to extend the mouse-behaving area down onto the left and right buttons at the bottom of the pad. BAD IDEA! If i am trying to click at a small spot, I have no trouble moving the curser to that spot; however, when I try to click on that spot the curser moves slightly as I press, often moving the curser so that the click fails to give me the effect I...
Summary: This laptop with win 8.1 is fast and responsive. But, I would NOT purchase it again. Hers why. Skip the DVD drive, it adds a lot of weight to a already HEAVY laptop. Almost too heavy to transport. If you must have a DVD drive, use a portable one. Next, the keyboard is terrible. The miss-keys and response of the keys is the worst. Love the back lite though. Next, the touch pad. The worst I have every used with the right and left licks built into the pad.
Summary: Got mine as an open box special at a Big Box store. Hard to complain at the $330 price for a 3 month old unit, but everything is relative. Even at its $500 + price new, you get allot for the money.ill respond in reference to the complaints I've read in other reviews. Keyboard is not flimsy. Responsive and though the keys are light to the touch (hey, its a laptop so it's supposed to be made of plastic! ) they are responsive.
Summary: I bought this laptop at Best Buy a few months ago, and I've been pretty pleased with it for the most part. Pros: - It's solidly built, like every Lenovo laptop I've ever experienced. The sole exception is the keyboard. - It's seriously fast. My last rig ran a Core 2 Duo P8400, which was great in 2009 but showed its age badly in mid-2013. With 8 GB of RAM and the quad-core processor, it's actually faster than my desktop gaming PC.
Summary: OK, I love this laptop! I bought it used about 2 months ago, but it is terrific. There are some problems with the mouse pad; sometimes the pointer just keeps going, but honestly, for how fast and delightful it is to use this computer, it's a small price to pay (especially for less than $600!). I'm a huge fan of Lenovo.
Summary: Im so satisficied with this laptop, excellent Price, great performance, Works the best with Windows 8.1, and the touchscreen is just the best. try it with several demmanding process and work just fine.
