Summary: Had it for a month before I returned it. It froze approximately every 2 days and was extremely slow at times. I needed it mostly for school but it's way too heavy to carry around all day. The speakers are really loud though, that was cool.
Summary: I was very pleased with the computer but immediately out of the box the touchpad and mouse buttons did not work. After spending well over an hour on the phone with Lenovo Tech Support they indicated that there was a hardware problem and that could only be remedied by either returning the computer or sending it into Lenovo to be repaired. I need this additional laptop for a conference next week so I cannot afford to wait for the repair.
Summary: From the moment I received the laptop. The touch pad was not responding when I click on it. It was a bit annoying as I bought it to use on another country. However, Lenovo warranty have agreed to fix the problem.
Summary: Material of the product is cheap . DVD rom is not really feed with the slot. Battery going out about 4 hours. Sensitive of touch pad is not that good. The curve design is not that smooth at all. U will feel it when u open .
Summary: Nice construction, but think we must have got a rogue unit, started crashing from the off, then lost sound, then would not shut down! Amazon as normal, were excellent simple cost free return. Replaced with an Acer aspire laptop for about same cost, this is good so far!
Summary: Was brilliant for the first 4 month but then booting up became a problem, very slow. Then accessing internet again very slow.... there are blog sites and customer forums for assistance but it seems to be more for the techie people not just your average user.
Summary: I bought this laptop to use for my job, university work, and music/video streaming, and didn't need it for high-demand tasks such as gaming and video/photo editing. I knew it wouldn't be a top-tier machine, but I don't really need one. As soon as I turned this laptop on, I knew it would have issues. The first thing I noticed is that the track pad does not allow you to scroll down the screen, forcing you to either use an external mouse or the arrow keys.
I was quite pleased with the specs for this laptop for its price

Summary: I was quite pleased with the specs for this laptop for its price, but there were a few issues: WiFi kept dropping out, but this may be a Windows 8 problem, as tweaks seemed to fix it between updates, however the DVD tray button stopped working after a few weeks, and the keyboard showed signs of wearing out - the letter "s" is always the first to go, being the most frequently used in English.
